Most of the slow down is coming from the wavecooker unstable overclock, not so much from the cryo beam!

the "claws" are stabber vines in DRG they only spawn in the hollow bough

In the first game there is an area that is a big tree where the claws spawn. They seem to be a part of that, so it's odd seeing them in different areas in this game.

When you double crit you don't do double damage, you do double crit damage! So you sum the amount of damage and the amount of critical damage times the multi-crit count. For example, at the end you have 423% crit damage and your M1000 does 1239 damage. The calculation is 1239 + (3.23*1239)*2 = 9242.94, and you double crit a monster for 9244!

You're right. The numbers do add up precisely. I was referring to another video where my double crits were not adding up correctly. Maybe it was a bug, or a mistake on my part. Thanks for your awesome comments though!

The big red rock/crystals can be used strategically to farm some exp! It always drops the rocks the way you are facing/mining, so if you get alot of monsters and mine the crystal so that the rocks fall on them, it will insta-kill them!

Yiep, just gather everything in one side and mine it on top of them! It can also be used for bosses, but it's harder to aim, cause they are moving faster towards you!

I’ve been stuck on this for days, I kite the bosses for like 5 minutes and they are at half health only and by that time they sprint as fast as me and I die every time, just no damage

That's pretty rough and I have to admit this was one of the toughest challenges. The trick is to snowball your xp on the first floor. Roll for a great weapon at lvl 5 that deals good area damage for more XP. Gather as much gold and nitra as possible and get your lvl 5 weapon to unstable overclock asap. Then pray to the RNG gods that the Hollow Bough will be kind to you

I always get swarmed when trying to get to the pod.. you just have all the shittiest weapons in the game and cant clear path in front of you in any way and I either die trying to get into the pod or run out of time

Haz 5 really punishes when I'm too greedy or the weapons are just not good. Devs are looking to buff some weapons so we should see some interesting changes

At stage 3, why didn't you leave the magnet, to pick it up after killing the elites? It would be a huge XP boost! Also at stage 5, the Gold-Tipped bullets would give you 50% damage, multiplicative. And if you add the constant crit it would be more than 2-3 times the damage!

I accidently grabbed the magnet on stage 3 and just shrugged it off and continued on. I will mention things like that in the future to avoid confusion. You are right about the Gold-Tipped Bullets. I just didnt take them because I thought I was going to be rerolling a bunch the next few levels but I didnt do that. Thanks for tuning in!

@@tomorrowsbygone For some reason the volume is really low (both yours and the game). I had to raise the volume to 50% when I usually have it around 10-15% for most videos! Keep up the good work!
