I remember getting this for my eighth birthday and me and my sister would grind this game together and we had so much fun and I still have my copy of the game

Literally the best samurai game ive played. Although i would loooove a game with mongols as protagonists. When i bought ghost of Tsushima on PC. I got so immersed, i played it straight through for 2 and a half days no sleep. My body cannot handle that kinda abuse anymote but I thoroughly loved and enjoyed the game

This video is awesome. But your quip about Freezezy Peaks bgm being the best snow theme of any game ever? I would say Frosty Village of Diddy Kong Racing, Walrus Cove of Diddy Kong Racing, as well as Everfrost Peak of the same game are much better, then there’s Frappe Snowland of Mario Kart 64 and Sherbert Field in Mario Hoops 3 on 3 for the DS, all those themes top Freezezy Peak bro, check it out for yourself 😊

Nuts and Bolts. Banjo Kazooie: Car Dependency Edition. It's like a European or Asian who is used to lively places where fun is a short walk away moving to America and finding all they do is drive around an enoty wasteland consuming useless junk!

My family loved this game! We spent tons of hours in it; we earned all the unlockables and beat it on every difficulty level (though we didn't do too much versus mode stuff). About it being accessible and fun for everyone, I can personally attest to that. I'm the oldest child in my family, I'm 11 years older than my youngest sibling, there are 5 of us all together (so 3 more interspersed in that age gap), and we all enjoyed it. Even my parents thought it was fun and cool. I'm pretty sure we all have the theme song indelibly embedded into our brains :) It's a pretty special game! So glad to see it covered in detail!

Great Video! Banjo and Kazooie will forever have a very special place in my heart as on of the best, if not the best Platformers from my childhood. The Problem with Rare these days is, they aren't Rare anymore. No one from the original Team is still there, it's Rare in name only. Glad that you felt the same way about Nut's and Bolts opening, it was just a slap in the face of those who loved Banjo and Kazoie. Disrespectful is what that was... To be honest, I hope Rare never touches the IP ever again, they do no longer have what it takes to give it the respect it deserves. In my oppinion, they should sell the IP to peole who actually care about the characters. Playtonic might be a good option, although Yooka and Laylee are already quite charming (maybe a mash up at some point would be cool),. So please, for the love of glob, Rare should not make Banjo-Threeie, I don't think I would survive that emotional slap in the face. The best thing that happened to Banjo and Kazooie in the past years, was their introduction to Super Smash Bros. As Grant Kirkhope said: "Banjo... Kazooie... we're home." Now let them stay home, give those characters back to someone that treats them with respect.

Honestly, if I get married and noone is dressed like a sad clown from the 17th century, I'd be livid. It is pretty cool that a lot of these fan games are practically memes themselves, though, for better or for worse. Great work with this vid, my guy! ❤

@@7hndo_89 Bubblegloop Swamp felt dark, especially when I played on my dark old TV, lol Plus the crickets and frog sounds made it feel night like, Freezeezy Peak however could’ve had darker snow or something, the flight aspects help you see it’s dark though,

I gotta go against as much distaste there is for Nuts and Bolts. I think it needs to be viewed as a spinoff, not a mainline title. Similar to Breath of the Wild 1&2. Those aren't even Zelda games anymore, so you have to view them as their own title/genre. That being said, I unironically think Nuts and Bolts is more fun as a 'lego creator style' than BotW2. I fervently hate BotWs though; I played Nuts and Bolts on release and as much as I hated their spit in the face attitude at the start, at least the creativity you could engage in was fun. I can't even grant BotW (1&2) that.

I liked the video, however i cannot agree with the opinions on Nuts and Bolts, i actually and GENUINELY enjoyed this game very very much and i would unironically get hyped as fuck if theyd make a sequel of it. And i am saying that as someone who did play the originals a looooooot when they came out.

What I will never understand is their lack of faith in the 3D platformer, when MARIO is right there, raking in the cash like it always has. People love these types of games, and banjo went the extra mile to differentiate itself enough from Mario to both appeal to that base, while growing and maintaining its own. The cognitive dissonance is just astounding. Frankly, I think they should embrace the self aware remake concept based on Gruntys final lines from nuts and bolts. She could attempt to remake the original story to change reality in her favor, so essentially take the time travel concept of the gba title but allow the story a ton of room to expand and grow organically. Either that or sell the IP to someone who actually cares about it.
