Best version of this song ever. Joey Castillo really adds to this songs epicness by playing at such a manic speed. Joey Castillo's beating on his drums with a speed and intensity as if his life depended on it, Mark Lanegan's gravelly bellowing voice painting a darkly beautiful picture, Josh Homme's and Nick Oliveri's guitar and bass parts hanging on for dear life but still mostly in sync, Troy's crazy lap steel solo, etc. It's just an amazing performance from the best era of an amazing band. Doesn't get much better than early 2000s Queens of the Stone Age live. My only wish is that this performance was recorded/mixed better so that we'd be able to hear the full magnificence of this song live, but even with this imperfect recording, this performance absolutely ripped, and is my favorite recording of my favorite song by my favorite band!
