That's what I call fun! I love being one of the few on a body of water and catching a variety of fish with minimal distractions and or gear....Kind of feels like treasure hunting and when you find success on a lesser known or lesser used body of water it's so satisfying. Smiles all day long!

Super sweet knife. Feel free to send it my way! Curious though if this knife would perform well trimming a pork butt or cutting brisket?

My biggest walleye up there was over 11 and biggest smalley was a tad over 8. Biggest small mouth I’ve ever seen. They were both late summer fish

Got a medium light, fast action yesterday and set it up with a Shimano spinning reel and its my new bass finesse rod. Im not a finesse guy so by finesse, I mean soft plastics with no weights and smaller baits for days where fish are finicky. Like the feel, it launches light stuff very well (7 footer), and I love love LOVE the way it all looks! The finish on this rod is absolutely beautiful with that dark look, but in light it's like a royal blue shine with almost a wood grain looking finish! Just a gorgeous rod, especially for the price!

Superior rod for the price point. Hard to justify buying something else for an all purpose rod. I've gotten dozens of walleye, bass and pike on my 6'9" M/F rod and the lure ratings are pretty cool. 1/8 to 3/4 is a fun range of lures to use.

I bet the homeowners dump lots of fertilizer on their lawn, I've seen that on some lakes here, weed growth is normal and then you come to a rich green lawn and the weeds in the lake are just a nightmare.

Avoid st croix like the plague! Bought a new triumph last year and didn’t even get to use it once before an eyelet fell out for no reason. I have about 6 st croix rods in the basement collecting dust because they all are missing eyelets. No other brand has done that to me in over 30 years. Will never buy st croix garbage again.
