What amp u using & how many watts ? I’m thinking of getting the 12s

@@theegreatest9322 it's a Kicker 3600 and I have a 150 Amp alternator, 0 gauge wire, 2 1050 CA batteries Group 31, and the amp is certified at 1915 watts rms. The 12's are something else because of their power rating and smaller airspace requirements. Thanks for watching. I have other videos of the Mojo's if you wanna see them

I’ll definitely check the other videos out ! But how would u rate the sub overall like can it take the full rated rms or more ? And how is the sound quality. I’m hooking up 2 of them in a custom sealed box . With a Rockford 2500 & definitely got the juice for clean power . I will post a video once I’m done .

@@theegreatest9322 honestly I look forward to this because I love these subs. They have always been phenomenal and I would say to be honest I would keep the power rating about 200 RMS below the rating to give you room so you can ride around all day and throw the power to them and the volume and not have to worry about heating those coils up because just like with any sub in a sealed box. If by chance you are able to get a ported box I would highly recommend that in the future just to keep the subs cool but then again it's a personal preference. I blew 2 Memphis M6 15's on this amp, but they were rated at 900rms each. I pounded them for almost 2 years at full power everyday. The amp was doing 1900rms so I was a bit over their power. They held that for 2 years. The Mojo's are on another level. These 15's are decent in sound quality, but they lack in finesse due to them being geared towards competition. Some notes, though, will make you smile at how clean it is. One of mine is an old school M3 quad coil Mojo from 2007 that is still playing!! It was used for competition lol. No lie. It's 18 years old and is still playing in my car today. The actual Mojo is from 2020 and is rated at 2200rms. I'll never blow it, but it'll eventually overheat because the coil will get weak over time and I play my crap loud all the time 😂 I look forward to your upload bro!! Mine are wired to 2ohm's.

One confusing thing..... online forums say to do this process ONCE you've done it or repeated it twice. About to buy a 2008 Rav4 without traction control 'off' switch as I thought this handy tip will save me a fair amount compared to the top spec 'ZR6' now not so sure as I'll have to repeat this countless times whilst sand 4WDriving. I heard elsewhere one can simply remove a fuse that automatically activates the traction control. Perhaps this would be much easier in my unique situation
@MemphisMojo15s
@MemphisMojo15s 9 күн бұрын
@@davidfromdownunder I hate that this procedure doesn't last. I have heard about the fuse as well, but to my knowledge thst disables the AWD feature. One of the things that seems to confuse a lot of people is the fact that the rears wheels still pull if needed, even if the rear lock button isn't engaged. I'm glad my 2010 V6 RAV4 has the Trac off button.

Thank you for providing coverage on these tires. Most do not realize that it all starts with contact, which is tire pattern design and compound. Next would be traction control which each vehicle may get depending on the designed use. How often do I see a truck lifted with big wheels with low profile aggressive tires that cannot be air down that in many cases also have a drop hitch. Sadly, many officers have lost their lives during these incidents when someone used a weapon against them. Cops cause a lot of shooting incidents themselves and furthermore, the largest percentage of crimes occur in major cities with gangs and drug dealers. The fact is, the largest majority of gun owners in America are not violent. One thing that needs to be stopped is no knock warrants. Cops are trained and are well aware of the potential of being killed every time they sign on duty. I bought my (fresh new) Troy-Bilt Super Bronco XP 50" 24 HP (3 blades) on July 3, 2024. That beast is very huge, well designed, easy to move, easy for maintenances (I am not a mecanic girl but I like to learn) on spark plugs, oil filter, gas filter, air filter, battery access (special charger 12V/2-4A is needed) and I always clean it (air blower) after each use "but"... I do not really know if my RM is an "old" model because the video here has been filmed 8 years ago ; on my papers (and motor stickers), it says March 13, 2024 so which one born before/after (?) paranormal question. What do I know is, for now (by following my feminine intuition), it seems that i do not regret this RM at all, it is really a beast ! Maybe it's my "maniacopath" side "(^ . ^)" but I will gradually add some extras and accessories on it such as : armrest kit (probably custom), 18" seat (almost gamer), bagger 3, and everything that I can find for a good looking "girl style" "(^ . ^)". I already bought a black Craftmans dual bar front bumper and a black/red steering wheel knob spinner. Since I love the Tri-Color (black, dark grey and red), I decided to give "Black Widow" name for that beast "(^ . ^)"... In despite of all this, I really hope that RM will keep running for the next 12-15 years ; I am generally taking care of my things... "(¬ . ¬)"

When I play in deep snow, the rear wheels are helping me do donuts and my speedometer shows 65-75mph at times. That's in deep snow. No way it will do it if the rear wheels aren't engaged. If you dyno this car, it has to be done on an awd dyno platform. You also can't tow this car due to it actually being sn AWD. It says 4WD, and itnis true because of the button, however we know it doesn't stay locked after 25mph. It disengaged and then kicks the rear wheels in when it detects the front wheels slipping. I just now have to replace drive belt and blade belts.. still all original except battery..lol.. finally if you want your motor to last.. use motor kote.. it's an oil additive.. I use it in my car and truck as well.. that's the only thing I can think of that has made the motor last that long.. so I may be buying one of these because its bigger.. if my mower ever finally gives up

If you turn off trac/vsc does it stay off until you turn it back on? Or does it automatically turn back on every time you start the car?
@MemphisMojo15s

It reverts back to normal operation once the car is turned off. It can't be permanently disabled unless it is done by the computer somehow

Headlight and fog light indicator. My lights are set to auto and even though it is fairly bright out, my front glass is fully tinted to 35% with a 5% top strip, and my side fronts are 20% and all rear windows are 5% over the factory, so the sensor thinks it's darker than what it is. Thanks for the comment

Do you hear a light whistle noise when accelerating in this vehicle? I do with mines and not sure if it is normal. I’ve had it test for vacuum leaks and none as I have had it test for other things too but none. Mechanic says its normal for the engine to make that sound.

@@dpownzzzz i heard a weird whistle at times when i first bought it. It sounded as if it were coming from the floorboard area or around the steering wheel. It was weird but honestly it finally stopped. I have never had a quiet Toyota 😂 I'm used to it i guess. Is yours the V6 as well? How many miles? What year?

My parents bought a 2007 RAV4 Sport V6 a couple months ago and it actually does quite well in the snow. Honestly better than I expected.. that’s with all season tires too. ( Yokohama Geolandars ) took it out in 8”-10” while going up some hills. There was a couple of spots you could feel it slip a little bit but it grabbed traction right away and off it went. I’ve never driven a Subaru in snow but doubt it would do any better.. glad to know the RAVs do this well since I’m currently in the market for a 2009-2012 RAV4 Limited V6 for myself.

They definitely get ragged on a lot for no real reason. I have a video of how to disable trac control and vsc in the ones that doesn't have the button to push for it. Good luck with the vehicles and thanks for stopping by

I have to Firestone winterforce 2 and I love those tires so much. They make such a big difference in snow. I can drive at peace knowing I have good performing tire. I have them in 265/75R16 on a 1995 Chevy k1500

Thanks for the reply and for the question. I think for safety purposes, Toyota doesn't allow the 4WD to stay on past 25mph. Running lower air pressure usually helps the tires grip better, but causes worse fuel mileage, uneven tire wear, and could be dangerous so do that at your own risk.

If I had to buy new snow tires right now, I would still buy the Firestone Winterforce tires that I've ran for a few yewrs now, even their newest tread design is awesome after I've read a few others reviews on this tire. The Ultra Grip tires I had were good in the snow, but they wore out fast. If I wasn't buying a snow tire, then my personal opinion says go with Mastercraft Courser HSX or the General Altimax RT43. I have videos of the Generals and they performed well in all conditions to be an all season rated tire. If money isn't as much an issue when tire shopping, I definitely recommend the BFGoodrich KO2. Phenomenal tire

I just have to say I own a 2002 Pontiac Trans AM and recently test drove a 2010 RAV4 Sport V6. While yes the Pontiac is faster being a V8 sports car, these RAV4 V6’s are no joke when it comes to power. Very quick for what they are. Definitely a sleeper Toyota. I’m looking into getting one because for me it kinda does it all. Best combination of power, 4WD capability, size, and decent gas mileage.

Awesome, and thanks for commenting! If Toyota had been able to squeeze the 6spd tranny in it, these cars would run a lot better.
