This is why if someone identifies as being envious or jealous should really reconsider why it is in the first place. And for the person dealing with someone or more people with jealousy, should strive to remain positive and supportive of someone who's wanting to learn what you know or do. They could be going through situations in life where the thing they're aiming for is something that could significantly alter their life in a positive way. Competition always exists and so understanding the root of the person's envy or jealousy can also clear up confusion in their motives in the way they operate around you. That of which can also save your life if things escalate. Knowing the root can give you clarity in the way you move about around them when distancing seems or is impossible.
