I got this at Aisgill. I was on the opposite side near the bridge. Not the best shot, but better than nothing; which is exactly what I got of the black five the previous Saturday!

I don't believe there is a power rating like on standard gauge locos, but tractive effort is easily comparable

Who builds and owns these small locomotives. Is it all private volunteers. Is UK still building new steam locomotives ? Quite fascinating.

They are all owned by either the Railway Company or Preservation Society. There are some staff, but majority are volunteers
