At the beginning of video there are people forward and to right of the shooter. Shooter should not have fired until range safe. RSO should not allowed firing until clear and safe. Also the parking lot is just to right of berm. This does not look like a safe set up for this stage. Surprised no one commented on this.

@jpi4110 I encourage you to take a look at modern camera tech. This was recorded on an Insta 360 Go 2 camera attached to my hat. There is a setting called "Ultrawide", so it expands the view to much wider than the human eye naturally observes, then the built in program reassembles the video into a clean viewing plane. The parking lot and observers are actually very far behind the angle I was shooting, and even farther back than the available shooting area. Everything in that first stage is well within the 180 and berms of that bay

Looking at the results for CO at this match, the first IDPA-only shooter came in 14th in CO. To give you an idea. Almost all of the people who placed higher at this match are at least M class in USPSA.

Thanks to your footage I've really changed how I try to move around stages and it really helped. I'm still trying to craft the explosive exit, shuffle jog and soft landing (thats how my mind rationalizes it anyway) this is great to try and keep emulating
