Hey Duy, totally off topic, but have you had issues with the weatherstrip coming loose on the outside of the windows? The rubber weatherstrip right between the bottom of the windows and chrome trims

Hi there. Yes, our ZDX also had that issue a few years ago. The little rubber strip towards the back of the rear door stuck out a little. I put a little bit of gorilla glue contact adhesive onto the rubber molding and pushed it back under the chrome trim. It has held up great. www.amazon.com/Gorilla-Clear-Contact-Adhesive-Waterproof/dp/B06X6JPZW1/

Hey Duy, I’m glad you did this video. I tried to remove my front bumper to replace my fog lights a month ago and couldn’t because of the 10mm bolts under the bumper, just right in front the wheels, both side, are stucked. I tried WD40 and other stuff, but still can’t. Didn’t try with heat because of plastic. I will have to find a way. Thanks again for your great content for ZDX owners, Danny

Hi Danny, no problem. Glad to help. I will also post the front bumper installation video soon. Rusted bolts are always tricky to remove. I am wondering if a rounded bolt extracter would help your situation. Here is a cheap set I found on amazon that has a 10mm size. amzn.to/4eyLOby Here’s what I do when I run into difficult bolts on bumpers. I try using locking vise grips to grip the head. If that doesn’t work, I get a Dremel or grinder and cut a Line right on the bolt head. Then use a flat head screw driver and hammer to unthread the bolt. Last resort is grinding off the bolt head completely with a grinder. Once the bolt head is gone and bumper is off, you can use the vise grip to remove the bolt treads. The bolt and clip will need to be replaced. Good luck and let me know when you are able to get the bolt off.

@@DIYwithDUY Hey Duy, my problem is not a rounded bolt head, it’s the treads that are seized. Nothing’s moving. Based on your advice, you are right, I didn’t think about grinding the bolt head, then remove the bumper and have access to the rest of the bolt after and remove it. There is a metal bracket in which the bolt is strewed, will this bracket stay in place and not causing any problem when removing the bumper cover? Thanks man, your help is much appreciated! Danny

@@Danny-pk9ht Hey Danny, yes, once you grind the bolt head off and remove the front bumper, you will have access to the U-nut clip that the 10MM bolt screws into. The U-nut stays in place and you can use pliers to remove and replace. Make sure you use a lot of masking tape on the bumper around the bolt. You don’t want to slip with the angle grinder or dremel and scratch your bumper. Here is a link to replacement U-nuts. I’m not sure if it’s identical to the ZDX U-nut, but it should work. amzn.to/4exCQek

Hi, you are correct. If you overvolt the original 12v motor, there is a chance that it will burn out the factory motor depending on the terrain and weight of the rider. If you go uphill or off road, it may strain the motor too much and cause damage to the original motor. My 50 pound daughter had a blast on the power rider going back and forth on our street. Hi, this is a very common issue with both the 2010-2013 MDX and ZDX. Looks like the piston rings are the issue and oil gets into the combustion chamber and burns. I contacted our local Acura dealership about the issue 10 years ago and they wouldn’t do anything about it while the vehicle had a warranty. They said burning a quart of oil between oil changes was acceptable by Acura standards. The best option is to top off the vehicle often to make sure there is always oil in the engine. Replacing the piston rings requires taking apart the motor to rebuild. It is a difficult job and costs a lot to change the piston rings. My plan is to keep driving our ZDX until it no longer runs and doing a motor swap when my current motor dies. I still think our ZDX’s will reach 400k miles as long as you keep topping off oil. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Hi! Sorry but i was wondering if you're connecting the moter to the hall sensor for the moter to run, and i was also wondering what are those things that you were using for the dewalt batterys called. Like to plug them in. Also im just starting to get into this kind of stuff so sorry for the questions😅😅

Hi, no problem at all. The motor is a brushed motor, so there is no need to connect hall sensor wires. I use tool “battery adapters” to connect the dewalt batteries to the controller. amzn.to/3O4hsSZ If you click on the video description, there should be a list of links for products I used in this video. Thanks for checking out the video and commenting. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Correcto, solo hay unas pocas marcas disponibles para el logotipo de inicio. el fabricante del sistema no agregó todas las marcas y no sé cómo agregar más logotipos
