@matthewMLP I don't work for Somfy but I have years of experience working with them. They can do curved drapery tracks so a bay could be done. You would need to provide a template so it could be curved properly but definitely doable. I hope that helps!

My new TaHoma/ Somfy App that I uploaded yesterday bears very little resemblance to the functions in this video. My version is not very user friendly and a pain to program timers etc. Is the KZbin video a new one as it seems much better than the functions in my app.

Mine will jog after pressing and holding the up/down buttons but then does nothing. Won't go up or down and then after a few minutes it jogs once again.

Got one of these free with a recent blind instalation and after completely losing my rag with the useless instructions for the blinds with the most simple things proving so difficult to do, i'm not even going to start with this thing, Somfy make some great stuff but i feel they dont put enough into making it simple and intuative to use. If truth be told i have watched several videos and still dont really know what this Tahoma thing does. One said it controls "zigbee", i dont have patience to even try to figure this out. To preserve my sanity Ebay beckons for this thing, not for me.

My wife just failed having spent the last hour trying to set this thing up with Alexa while i was doing something else but listening, it was laughable how she kept going round in circles, with Alexa contradicting itself over and over again, i'm afraid your site is as intuitive and "easy" to use as your products, if anyone is thinking of purchasing, for the sake of your sanity think again, it says it all when the blind installer gave us the unit and then stated "dont ask me how to set it up i have no idea" no wonder the blind company were giving these things away free with their blind installs. My experience is an awefull under developed product that simply doesnt work. Somfy really should get back to the drawing board and get real feedback from real people and develop a product that actually works out of the box.

You don't go into any detail. I need to know how to setup a daily routine for a light. So far I've been stumped by the app.

Most Alexa/Echo devices are pretty smart these days. You could try saying this to your device "Alexa (Or whatever you have set up to call it) turn on the (Insert the name of the light you want to control) light every day at sunset / 5PM / noon (Whatever time you wish). The device will then create the routine for you. The long way round, takes a bit more tech savvy and is a LONG walk around. You'd have to click the + icon in routines, which adds a routine. Then decide what kind of routine, what smart home device to activate, what time to activate, what smart item needs to do, and for how long............etc..................See what I mean? Best to just let the device create the routine, by asking it to do so. BE SPECIFIC!!! That's what is most important. I find it best to write down word-for-word, what you want the routine to do, and then speak to the device. But I'm old................lol :D

Thank you! This helped me out. I was stuck with a non responding motor, tried all the button tricks on the controller. But the 2, 10, 2 (power plug) reset and pressing the button on the back of the controller, got it to respond. Next step it to get it set up again in the normal way (upper/lower limits) and then finish the program mode by pressing the button on the back (blinder will jog wen finished programing)
