Thank you! I don't have a private teacher - this is so helpful!

Hello teacher, how are you? How is your family? I really like your Bach led version. I am Rafael from OSNIV with whom you shared the lectern the day we played together

David, like the great cellists is a very humble man. What a wonderful and beautiful sound from a beautiful cello. It looks like a French cello. It is so even across all strings. How lucky a student would be to have David as a teacher.

Do you have sheet music for this version? It’s really lovely. I’d love to play it with my cellist friends!

This is so very helpful because you take time to explain in detail and it all falls into place . You even allow us to see the difficulties that really have to be faced up to and diminished , sorry couldn't resist but the biggest thank you for covering this study so wonderfully. Wish you were my teacher!!!

I took your lesson in Ehime, Japan more than 20 years ago. You were playing Beethoven at that time as well. I'm glad to feel that I am able to meet again. Seiichi Kikuchi

Kikuchi-san ! How nice to hear from you. I do remember our meeting. Oh my...is it already that long? Time flies. It is so nice that you reached out to be in touch. I hope you are well in these strange times. Best wishes in music and all things, David G.

@@davidgarrett1868 I am a dermatologist in Hokkaido, Japan. I was a medical student when I was taught the cello. What I was taught is my property. I still use the score of the trio of "Tell Me Which Way the Wind Blows" that you wrote. Impressed by Franck's sonatas you played the other day, I started practicing too. I want to see you again someday. Take care!

Ah, a Beethoven fan, this is Phillip Glass but nice try. You must be referencing that otherwise that’d make you a terrible person... please disregard this person comment, I very much enjoyed your performance as someone learning this piece!

Wow... as far as I can recall, I think this is the last time I've played in concert. What good memories. Remember when they thought this quarantine was going to last two weeks and we would be back to normal by the end of April?
