David, like the great cellists is a very humble man. What a wonderful and beautiful sound from a beautiful cello. It looks like a French cello. It is so even across all strings. How lucky a student would be to have David as a teacher.

This is so very helpful because you take time to explain in detail and it all falls into place . You even allow us to see the difficulties that really have to be faced up to and diminished , sorry couldn't resist but the biggest thank you for covering this study so wonderfully. @@davidgarrett1868 I am a dermatologist in Hokkaido, Japan. I was a medical student when I was taught the cello. What I was taught is my property. I still use the score of the trio of "Tell Me Which Way the Wind Blows" that you wrote. Impressed by Franck's sonatas you played the other day, I started practicing too. I want to see you again someday. Take care!
