Happy Diwali everyone! Remember, gold and equity serve different purposes in your portfolio. Don't compare them - instead, consider investing in both to balance your wealth and reduce risks! Which gold option are you choosing this festive season - Physical Gold, ETFs, or SGBs? Let me know in the comments! 🙌

@@sanjaysinha6261 Sir, thank you for your time. Sanjay sir, Most videos on KZbin are meant for the general public, and I understand that U must be a seasoned investor, as you're already familiar with these points. However, many people, incl my friends, despite excelling in their jobs or businesses, are still unaware of some basics, like the difference between regular and direct MFs etc, As for the points being 'outdated,' I believe the basics always hold value, as they are often overlooked in favor of expert opinions. Ignoring these fundamentals is where many go wrong. Hope I am making some sense here. Thanks 🙏

Why Contil India and Dhanalaxmi Roto Spinners Can Be Multibaggers: 1. Contil India: Scalable Export Business: Specializes in packaged food exports, tapping into the rising global demand for Indian products. Global Supply Chain Shifts: With disruptions in supply chains, Indian exporters are filling market gaps, providing growth opportunities. Valuation Upside: Market cap is less than 100 crores, leaving huge scope for growth. The company has already delivered over 5,000% returns till date. 2. Dhanalaxmi Roto Spinners: Yarn Industry Growth: With Bangladesh’s textile crisis, India’s yarn exports are seeing increased demand. Dhanalaxmi, as a yarn manufacturer, is positioned to capture this opportunity. Government Support: India’s focus on textile exports and modernization offers a strong tailwind for growth. Low-Cap Growth Potential: Market cap under 100 crores, offering huge room for appreciation. The stock has already given more than 16,000% returns. Both companies are well-positioned to benefit from global trends and market shifts, making them potential multibaggers in the coming years.

The first payout of SGB are due in August 2024 in this month but the recent deduction in import/customs duty in India might lower the value of payout than original expected payout. Is it true ?
@CA_Surajdeo2 ай бұрын
Yes true, The redemption value of SGBs is linked to the market price of gold. If the market price of gold is lower due to reduced demand, the redemption value could also be lower than anticipated

You might know that gold prices have hit a record high recently. What's behind this rise? Central banks across the world are buying large amounts of gold. The trend began with China, whose central bank started buying large quantities of gold nearly two years ago. In 2023 alone, China purchased 225 metric tons of gold, more than any other central bank that year.
@CA_Surajdeo2 ай бұрын
In fact not only China, but other central banks are also diversifying their reserves by buying more and more gold, like t, India, Kazakhstan, Jordan, and the Czech Republic. India, in particular, has seen a surge in its gold purchases, reaching almost a two-year high last month. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) now holds over 800 tons of gold, worth more than $50 billion. So, now, the central banks of many countries want to reduce risks and not depend too much on a single currency or instrument like the US dollar. That's why they are buying gold.

Sir, this is about HRA benefits. If HRA is a part of the salary component, then you get HRA exemption u/s 10(13A) of the Income Tax Act. But if you do not get HRA as a part of your salary from your company, you can still get an HRA deduction u/s 80GG.

Here are some other questions people generally ask related to 80GG: Can you claim 80GG benefits when you are living with your parents? Certainly, you can claim Section 80GG benefits when you are living with your parents or the property is in your parent’s name, provided you're paying rent for this. Also, ensure you have a rental agreement with your parents.
