Hi may i ask how do you turn on the turbo? Thanks
@KrakenRides
@KrakenRides 3 күн бұрын
@@khakapotz You first need to enable it in the P settings for X mode (can't remember the # offhand so refer to your manual) by setting the value to 5 (maximum turbo). A red icon in the top right corner of your display will appear to show you that it's available. Then in order to turn it on you need to be driving at least 20km/h+ and meanwhile hold down the + button on the control pad. You'll know turbo is on when "ON" appears directly below the red symbol on the display.

@@pbugabuga Yes I personally would definitely recommend getting a damper for the Klima. Once you get used to it you'll find it radically improves the handling and stability which provides peace of mind when riding at high speeds. In my experience I found the steering without the damper too loose and jerky, it was prone to wobble above speeds of 40km.

I enjoy going fast just because its fun and gets the adrenaline pumping, though riding at top speeds drains the battery much quicker. Tbf this particular trail would've been much easier to ride were I to have hybrid or offroad tires installed rather than the street PMTs which dont provide much traction on the heavier gravel. I haven't tried the Vsett10+ scooter personally though I've heard plenty of positive things about it from those who have, the updated Apex version seems promising though still seems like a step down from Nami scooters imo. i cant find where you responded about the e fires and the klima being tubeless which i'm sure i knew at some point but since forgotten. plug and play motor cables will make using tire levers less of a pain in the ass. both mine are tubed w split rims but i haven't had a flat since swapping the ghost's shitty stocks w the hybrids first ride may 2021.(knock on wood). Slime sealed 2/3 punctures bewtween nov-dec 2021 and kept them flat free afterwards, until the slime gluing my valve caps on and causing both current flats, but that was my bad. I put some Armour Dilloz x Alien Rides "alien blood" in the wolfs tires a few weeks ago after having it on hand for a year and never pre sliming/pre AD'ing em lol. The good AD is so hard to find in Canada, the blue being for pevs 40mph and over. the alien blood has UV reflective pieces to identify the puncture if the tire gets punctured along with the kevlar and whatever else makes AD the military grade sealant. 4x the price of 16oz of slime....for 8oz ad....but i'm sure its worth it.
@KrakenRides
@KrakenRides 4 ай бұрын
That might've been on the discord actually where I discussed about my PMT tires. For the tire sealant I ordered armor dilloz for the kevlar fiber protection it offers, and I chose the red maximum effect option, since I read somewhere on reddit that for the softer PMT rubber the blue stuff was ineffective at preventing punctures - and they didn't have luck until switching to the red. Its rated for being used on PEVs 40mph and under which is cool since my Klima single motor only does 39 at top speed, and I most often ride it at 20-30mph anyway. You were right that it was very hard to source in Canada, I had to pay almost the same price in shipping and tax. Though I'd still much rather spend the extra $$ on ensuring my tires last. The alien blood stuff you mention looks cool too. I'll be attempting to change my tires soon, trying to do as much research as possible beforehand to not completely fuck it up, since it'll be my first time. Seems that the zip-tie method is the safest and easiest solution for mounting a new tire which should be no problem, my only concern is seating the bead onto the rim when inflating it.
