Climbing up to the Santis.. In English we can for example say.. 'He climbed the stairs to go to bed'.. The reference being the effort to ascend and not need to infer using a rope, harness etc.. Verb: go or come up a (slope or staircase); ascend. "we began to climb the hill" Noun: an ascent, especially of a mountain or hill, by climbing. "this walk involves a long moorland climb"
