You can't start with M.A.S.K. :) That into song puts all the other intros into shame. Only Airwolf (non-cartoon) can cope with it.

Centurions was one of my things back than man but even though I couldn't tell back than now I can tell why Tigersharks and SilverHawks were some of my favorite cartoons ....it's cause they were made by my favorite Animators Rankin/Bass....Inhumanoids though I remember watching the movie some years ago and thought it was only that didn't know it had a one season series

The thing is... back then, most of the cartoons were mostly average. Some were better, some were bad. As a grown up, i watched some old He-Man episodes and only noticed it today, that only the character moves most of the time, but the background didn't. Most of the shows were produced, to sell the toys. But back in the 80's producers knew, that the one thing, that kids will stay at the TV, if the shows have a intro, that stucks in the head. And THAT is a thing, that i miss in modern cartoons
