He's doing way more than what a custodian should be doing. Like leaving the building to pick up trash etc that's a different departments job, the groundskeeper and so on.

It is so refreshing to see such kind and caring staff at a school like this! So many times we only hear about the bad things and not any good! Not sure who the second lady was that was at the school with Angel but you can SEE how much she cares about him and loves him! I hope he is doing well as this is a fairly old video.

Hi Hector, Thanks for your comment. Principal Barraza actually was working for the Pasadena Unified School District when this was filmed. He is now working in another district.

Some of these teachers at most of these schools let their students trash the classrooms and eat in the classrooms and have a lot of spills and want the custodians to mop their floors everyday they should start mopping their own floors and then they would see how custodians feel that have to mop everyday.

Who the hell is thumbs downing this?? Great story. I'm am elementary school Custodian and we do so much that no one sees. People think it's an easy job but it's definitely not. Especially with Covid. I was always told, the principal, secretary and custodian are the three most important people in school.

Homeschool its very good for a kid. Most of the parents. Chose the right to let their child home till they know everything will be ok. Not only kids get the risk @ danger if they go back. The people that want kids back to go to reg class are risking families too. I explain why.... They go.. They get virus . they come home @ someone in the family get it . then what. Elderly people dont need to get sick or die just because a person wants kids to go back. That person will be irresponsible. We parents know they have to go but u could wait to the right time. If not ever get better people have to deal with it @ work from home like now. If they are impatience. Nuts no $ . do something to distract yourself. Help your kids with work . take them out . do something productive .@ money $. Look in computer @ get something you could be paid off. Life . health @ important issue are valuable not dangerous thing or place that people be sorry if they risk kids @ families life....so i know that the people that wants kids to go i hope u understand if u give permission to parents to choose @ they choose homeschool u have to remember that parents wont have consequences of that cause 1st u give permission to do so. @ 2nd kids @ families have to be protected @ safe thats the important thing in life... So please let the decision of homeschool like other states without consequences. U let us parents decided accepted it.... @ please wait to green light..... If dont come well. Have to be the way it is.... So president . Desanti. Think our kids are our future let them live. Not die ....they deserve to live..... Its getting high the virus situation . understand it....kids life .health. Safety are premordial. Meaning 1st than anything . so homeschool.. School if it doesnt start on fall. It could start lije in a state. I know it start next year....i hope u understant parents choice dont get upset please no consequences. We understand too that they haxe to go but please understand parents consern...please....this situation its bad but passing time i bet it get a little better be patience people do the job home like now . it will be worth it. At last........thank u i hope u think about our kids.......

i was a school custodian 40+ years at Grand Blanc Schools in Michigan. so i know a little about it. People don't realize there are a few tricks to the trade in this job. you go Felix!
