Cool! As a Elinchrome user the only thing I am envious of is their freemask system. Yes you can disable lights on the elinchrome controller but broncolour's system does it just so much better. All in all a nice video/advertisement!

The camera was a rental and had a couple spots, what can I say? ;) - and, at over 10,000 students strong, we aren't tiny! We are very fortunate to have the support of our executives and community. :)

03:35 So does that mean that Broncolor's Flash Duration tech is still unmatched today? I haven't visited Profoto and Godox for quite some time I really don't know who's leading atm.

Please explain something technical for me. How is it possible for the 1/7500 shot (3:33) to be more frozen in time than an exposure taken at the shorter 1/12000 duration? This makes no sense to my brain. What am I missing? What other aspect of the exposure causes this outcome? Thank you for your answer.
@BroncolorUSA Жыл бұрын
Hi Ed, I believe the graphic shown isn't taking the flash duration measurement into account. broncolor measures all of it's flash duration at t.01 (which means that at the peak of flash output 90% of the power has been expended at the time of output). Other brands commonly use t.05 to make their numbers seem much faster (even though at the time of output there is still 50% power remaining which can cause blurring in the final image). Hope this helps clear things up.

Thanks for this! Please kill the background music on these tutorials. This isn't an infotainment video, it's an educational video. The music makes it hard to hear all of the information. I had to turn on captions. Thanks again.
