I’m sorry you didn’t enjoy the video. It wasn’t made with birdsong reproduction in mind. Out here in the Big City, we’re lucky to have any birds, let alone birds that can sing loud enough to overpower the rumble of the city. There are lots of other great birdwatching channels on KZbin. I am sure you’ll find a number of them more suitable to your taste if birdsong and bird knowledge is your preference.

@Aeorostar does the fs5 record its slow motion settings of 480fps and 960fps in 10 bit?

That’s a good question. I no longer have the FS5, but if my memory serves me, I think 10-bit high-frame-rate (slowmo) recording is only accessible via SDI connection (to a recorder). But don’t quote me.

Their Dec and RA clutches suck. So tight and sharp at the edges, my fingers hurt. Also setting zero position is not well documented.
@aerofart2 жыл бұрын
You mean their DEC/RA clutch engage/release lever, the tiny disc-shaped knob with the thin sliver protruding out the middle of it that's supposed to be a finger handle. Yeah, that kinda sucks if you don't use it correctly. There's a specific procedure that you need to follow when engaging/releasing the RA/DEC axis from the motors. IF you follow that procedure, and you make sure to relieve any unbalanced load from the mount by hand so as to remove that load from the gears, then those tiny little knobs actually are not hard to operate. I think they were designed small intentionally so as to force the user to do things right and to prevent that user from using GORILLA FORCE and ruining his telescope mount. Of course, it should go without saying that your system should be balanced on both axes AT ALL times for best performance and to prevent the early demise of your otherwise GREAT little mount!

In order to save the optics of anyone taking advice from here. Please remove your mirror completely and let it sit alone submerged in a plastic dish of warm water and dreft pure soap. Then float small balls of cotton wool working from centre out and never using one twice. The telescope featured is very expensive and never got this dirty just from sessions exposing images.
@aerofart2 жыл бұрын
The advice being given here is based on advice I acquired directly from the owner of the AG Optical company, the guy who designed and manufactured this instrument, prior to cleaning this mirror. I specifically voiced my concerns about causing damage to the mirror prior to doing the work. He told me these coatings are extremely durable, unlike some treatments done by third parties for home-brew mirrors, and that if I took basic precautions and generally followed typical cleaning techniques, that I had nothing to worry about. I’ve been working with, maintaining and cleaning my own optics (telescopes, eyepieces, filters and camera lenses) for a few decades now and have never damaged a single one. You might try being a bit more diplomatic next time before you post, or being more specific with your advice.

@aerofart2 жыл бұрын
Standard bird seed that you can find at your local supermarket or hardware store or feed store works great for many year-round and migrating birds. In my experience however, the caked (suet) types are completely ignored by the birds, though squirrels might enjoy it if they can get to it.

It just have two 1cm loops sawn at the back of the battery pocket (I installed O rings there, it's the only possible place). @@fer_fdi oh, I see what you mean. But hey, you put in a little work, made the bag YOURS by customizing it, and saved a few bucks in the process. That sounds like a WIN to me! Enjoy.

I don’t have one of those on hand, but if you want to send me yours I could give it a shot. Hi Antonina. Yes, I'm am Italian, from Sicily and I speak the Old Sicilian dialect quite well because I learned it from my parents while I grew up in the U.S., so there was no "modern" influence of the language imparted. It's hard to go wrong with Cuccuzza. Just give it lots of love, kind words spoken in Italian, lots of water, lots of sunshine, lots of space, room to breath, and something sturdy to climb and hang from (must be very sturdy bamboo, 2x4 lumber is even better, because the plant and fruit get VERY heavy) and keep an eye out for caterpillars because they will enjoy it for dinner before you get a chance. When you prune the plant, be sure to save the leaves (tenderumi, meaning tender ones) and any flowers you trim and cook those into a minestra - I think I prefer those more than the squash itself. Be sure to harvest and eat the cucuzza while it is young, and not too large. Like people, the young ones are the most tender and flavorful. The old ones tend to harden and lose flavor. Be sure to keep one or two fruit on the plant until it grows large and old so that you can save that for seeds for next year. Also be sure to keep the plant off good luck and buon appetito.

Hello,how to match those video in DaVinci step by step?
@aerofart3 жыл бұрын
I don’t have the time to show you’d Rep by step, but the thing you need to understand is color space transforms using ACES. The trickiest part is finding the appropriate input gamma and color space. Rec 2020 works well when you can’t find a specific entry in the list that matches what your camera is recording. For example, if you’re shooting F-Log and don’t see an F-Log entry on the list, Rec 2020 will work well with a little correction required afterwards. Be sure to use ACES Color Management in your project settings, not DaVinci Color Management. Try different combinations because several will yield good results.

Thank you for making the time to share this! I have had my eye on this area. I noticed a few bike riders. Would you recommend bringing a bike? Is the terrain ok for bikes?
@aerofart3 жыл бұрын
Hi Regina. Unfortunately, I’m not very well informed about the rules/regulations or appeal of riding a bike at the SJWA, so you’d be better served checking out the link I provided in the video description or getting in touch with a local cycling group. My guess is that while the place is beautiful and quiet, the options for bike riding aren’t great since the place wasn’t intended for that purpose. And it’s probably not a good idea, especially if you don’t stay on the main road, since there are many environmentally sensitive areas where endangered birds build their nests and raise their young. I may be wrong and there may be some options out there that are workable; but like I said, you’d be better served informing yourself by doing some research at the official website and speaking with locals. Im a cyclist myself so I feel for you. I’m glad you enjoyed the video - and happy trails!

May I ask what's the problem of my mod? If I press the puff button/power button my mod turns off. What do you think is the problem?
@aerofart4 жыл бұрын
It could be you have an electrical short circuit and the short-circuit protection built into your unit is kicking in, shutting down your mod to prevent it from burning up. It's also possible that one of your batteries is old and no longer has any capacity to store a charge, even though it might have a proper voltage reading.
