From what I understand, drakkengar 3 is the prequel to drakkengar 1 and 2 being the sequel. Nier is a spin off of drakkengar 1. So Nier and drakkengar 2 are two separate timelines with drakkengar 2 considered by fans as non-canon. Why? Not entirely sure. Original Nier had two versions. Replicant (for Japan) and Gestalt (rest of the world). I can only find very minor differences and story wise the same. Replicant was remastered and available world wide called version 1.1 something something

The lvl's at wich u unlock different cars dont rlly matter, its just like a goal/reward you get. The races have cars from the same class so they are more or less balanced, so again the lvl at wich you get em dosent mean much. When it comes to the Aston Martin u drove at the beginning, the car dosent rlly spin out, its a super car and at certain speed every car will lose traction, you just need to use the brakes a bit more. Have fun with the game!

It was awesome to finally watch decent videos about this game that aren't from 9 years ago, and to be able to help you as well. I skipped the Cacarion mission because I'm going to fight it soon in Toukiden 2 and I don't want to get too spoiled (even though I know it's basically an ice Maledictaur with a horse head). I'll go back there once that's done. I think you're going to like Toukiden 2 more than this one. It's significantly shorter, most of the repetitiveness is optional and the mission rewards will help you a lot, but it also has more sad and emotional moments.

I could give you some more tips, but it looks like you've handled yourself just fine. Are you at least going to do the Chapter 13 missions? There's a little bit of extra story between them.

If you're going to use the same equipment for a while, you might as well fortify it. Like I said, you don't spend materials doing it if your Compatibility bar is full. That's how you make it stronger while waiting for the next upgrade. Also, when a Mitama reaches the max level, you can equip any of its previous boosts.

4:35 The thing is the Anomalos is a super tough Oni from Ultimate difficulty missions, so you're going to have to wait at least until Chapter 13 to make that sword. Not to mention you can't make a Stoic Masamune if you're going for that. Also, this is how the large Oni's health works: after you break their defense, attacking anywhere will deal actual damage. But if you attack a body part that was already purified, you can deal damage to their health even if they have their defense up. It probably also means the damage colors are inverted and you should try to do purple attacks.

Was randomly talking with a buddy and Enchanted Arms was brought up. I was trying to tell him how ridiculous the Shogun was, and thankfully I found this clip easily. Thanks to you, it led to a conversation and he's going to play the game now! ...But of course, he now knows the Shogun is a slob and trying to revive one of the bad guys, but the game pretty much makes it clear he has no one's best interests at heart but his own. lol Thanks for the video! :D

this game is amazing, played it first when I was a young teen and I fell in love with all the transhuman aspects, the atmosphere and of course the soundtrack (which I still listen to today!). The first game Deus Ex 2000 is also surprisingly good, I didn't play it until very recently, like two years back and it blew me away how good it was.
