There’s more to it than simple observation. For example, a disability insurance company may have stressed a claimant to a point of PTSD symptoms, and every time the claimant get an appointment that threatens their livelihood (benefits cut off), they remain in fight or flight during the appointment, full of adrenaline, which also cancels out pain signals.

Just how much do you get paid to stand up there and defend a law that doesn't get enforced. I'm disabled, and live in north Mississippi. The law refuses to enforce the parking restrictions. The businesses refuse to properly post and mark their parking spaces. Even police constantly violate the law by parking in those spaces, going into walmart and doing their grocery shopping. So don't tell me all the good things your mind wishes and never gets enforced.
