I have a love for those little home made rigs. My Dad always dreamed of building a little one like that, even started collecting parts, just never got to it. Instead he bought a little Sears 725 garden tractor. We had loads of fun with it once we could get it to run decent.

When I was six my Dad bought one of these in 1965. We lived in Greenfield Indiana and our yard was big enough we needed a rider. Such great memories. He had me riding behind him on a piece of plywood to smooth out the yard before he seeded the lawn. He let me steer it sitting in his lap and I helped mow. But I remember also that the thing left two rows of clippings behind. We hated having to rake up the clippings. Otherwise the clipping turned brown and made the yard look funny.

I wish you would have gotten a shot of the sign with this rig, it would be nice to know a bit of the details. Very impressive, I'm guessing 1/3 scale? I would be very interested in seeing what they did for engine and drive train in the tractor as well. One of my pipe dreams is to build a scale model of my Allis 20-35's.

lol no, but I wish. It's a 1936 case rc. The early rc's are a cute and not too common tractor though too.

I had a 1974 until my dad towed away for space in the driveway and he took it back as an Indian giver i was 19 years old at the time. About 1 week later i went to the tow yard to get my car back it was gone they sold it on me my father didn't even care about it at all now i try finding it impossible to find a sport coupe in 100% original condition with the factory bucket seats with factory stripe on them shiifter on the floor and it had a 351 Cleveland Engine. If only i had a job back than i would of stored in my friend's garage i would have it today and i would never sell her because that car meant a lot to me with great sentimental value to me as a young guy it was like having a classic beauty sitting in my driveway . The old man bought that car for $500.00 bucks off the original owner who was a old guy. My sister owned it first until she went fast on a dip on the road and ruined the bottom of the car with the exhaust and muffler but it was fixed good as new. After my Dad took it away from my sister and passed it over to me, and at that time it didn't run at all and I was so excited because after all it was my very first car so I didn't care if it ran or not i fell in love with the car. But when it got towed away from the driveway boy was i mad, i couldn't do anything about it. Thanks a lot Dad for being a real jerk.

I just lost one too my dad told me to take care of it when he was in the hospital dieing. My girlfriend had it towed way because she was mad at me and I didn't have the paperwork or money to get it and lived with her so I couldn't even get it out. It had less than 70,000 miles and ran great now I am depressed and all I can do is watch videos to remember it. It's so embarrassing that when people ask about the car I fill like crying and sometimes I do

sadly there isn't much of an aftermarket for these cars like the trucks, so your best be will be Ebay, a parts car, or maybe forums. I haven't found a site yet that has a lot of parts for these yet.

Had one of these when I was 12. Bought it from a guy I was taking boxing lessons from. He lived just outside of town. Used to take it out on the country roads for about an hour after training. He used to ride it while I jogged and ran. Lol. Did that for a couple years. Good memories.

Connor Cox well i might think about selling it later, because I'm trying to get a 72 Yamaha 125 enduro running, and I want something to ride until I get the bigger one going. I know your struggle though. Parts for these bikes are hard to find.
