I just remembered when Fanduel came out with their odds on the Gators winning 4 1/2 games and we all thought that was just whacked. What could they have been thinking? We all thought somewhere between 5 and 8 wins, but all the things you brought up this episode, that all the things we all assumed would have happened during the off-season, didn't happen. Billy Napier seems to think that everything he was doing last year was just great, like he was the one who knew everything there was to know, so why make all the changes we assumed he - or anybody - would have made during the offseason. Instead, Fanduel somehow... maybe they brought in an FBI profiler to get an in-depth profile of Napier, who told them - Nuh-uh (that's technical talk). Anyway, wow. I mean, I don't gamble, so I don't care much, but... something here is just kinda creepy.

Georgia vs Alabama is a useless game. Who cares? If the teams have any sense at all, they won't even try to win. They'd be better off saving the place that would actually work to use them in the playoffs. If you win this game, meet the team in the playoffs, the team will know all your good plays against them.

We aren't going to have new head coach until the end of the season. There is no point. We are just going to bite the bullet on recruiting and players transferring out. Then once the playoffs are over, we will hire Lane. He will bring players with him. Many of the players that transferred out will come right back. I don't why you think it's so necessary to fire Napier as soon as possible. It doesn't matter.

Thanks Brandon. Here in Gainesville, seems everyone is already home and staying home. People generally off the streets. People may think that, being inland, we are not vulnerable to hurricanes. Although its true we are not in danger like those on the coast, with the storm surge, the greatest risk of fatalities, there are still aspects of the weather, especially a storm that is 700 miles by 1100 miles wide. This is a big one, possibly Cat 4 when it hits tonight. The size of the hurricane is greater danger than strength, in terms of storm surge. And up where its supposed to hit, the storm surge warning is 10-20 feet, twice what hit and destroyed communities all along the coast. So, yeah. Get prepared. And to our rivals in Tallehassee, please be careful. This thing is a whole lot worse than both our seasons.

I really hope we beat UCF but I just don’t see it! They have the #1 rushing attack in the whole country and our rushing Defense is 1 of the worst in the country! Miss st was the worst SEC rushing team in the country last week averaging 60 yard per game and we let them rush for 250+ yards so take that how you want but UCF averages 350+,rush yards per game right now. They will probably rush for 500+ on us

Shouldn't change anything? What would change it at this point? We've got Saban on College Gameday claiming Napier may not be the problem. What is the problem?
@19mindmechanic553 күн бұрын
The play that doesn't look like Ron Roberts that you were saying might be Austin Armstrong - yeah, maybe. But also, again at the risk of making the data fit the hypothesis, this is consistent with the possibility of Napier having a pathological need to control... EVERYthing. Its the same stupid mistake they made last year? And what was the thing this past week about Napier saying he was going to spend extra time with the defense? And then the defense ends up looking like a rat's a$$ with hemorrhoids. I think there is a good possibility that Ron Roberts is going to have his reputation shat on just as he gets toward the end of his career, because maybe his problem is not how he does his job, but instead that he can't stand up to Napier and tell him, "You hired me to do a job. Now get the fork out of the way!!" Now to something more pleasant, as always, it was a pleasure to see Hayden up there in his Wednesday spot. What a great guy, and a terrific ball player. I really hope the pro teams are aware of him. Although he's not making one-handed diving touchdown catches, he is a BIG tight end who not only can block but really works on being the best blocker he can. And I think he's succeeding. But his potential is massive. If he were on a team that knew how to use someone with his size and skills as a receiving tight end as well as an ace blocker, I think he'd be as well known as any of the other star tight ends we've seen in the NFL these past few years. I sure wish him the very best - oh, and they made him a captain for the game! Someone did something genuinely right! Also, Hayden and Sharif playing against each other in practice has to make them both better players. The best.

I disagree. I think he lets others do their jobs but doesn’t tell them to change when they clearly are crapping the bed.

@jasonmontgomery74592 күн бұрын
The reasoning (excuse) for doing this BS is that we have a bad oline.. so the best pass blockers go out for a few and run 2 outta 3 pass plays the best run blockers go out and run 2 outta 3 run plays🤷♂️ the problem you create doing this is you can't get in a flow and lack continuity and if you battle in the trenches of the sec (unlike the Sunbelt or most other conferences) you have to know what every guy you go into battle with is thinking and what they're going to do before they even think about doing it.. I feel like this is obvious and easily common knowledge but our $7m a year man is unaware .

It’s because the same coach keeps playing the same tired, running back over and over and over. We have a amazing running back room so much talent, so many different kinds of runners, so many different kinds of paths catching abilities. It’s not the running backs. It’s the coaching is the stubborn stand always the same way stubborn, stubborn, stubborn, stubborn, stubborn, coaching, it has nothing to do with the running backs.

Florida’s defensive line is the worst I’ve ever seen, and UCF is a dominant run team, so Florida has to key on that. So maybe against UCF they should put Marshall on an island all game, and put 9 sometimes 10 crowding the line.
