My uncle & his mate were the 1st 2 guys in Australia 🇦🇺 2 Barefoot. Probably around the '50's ???

Shaun Murray is an absolute legend. I have been riding his signature Hyperlite boards for decades. Met him in 1999 on Lake Shasta at Boardstock. Somehow crawled onto the Hyperlite houseboat a did a shot of tequila with him and I think they also had a keg of Guinness on the houseboat that we drank from. He was a cool mofo and I always admired his riding style.

this is the coolest trick ive ever seen. Im a beginner wakeboarder and just landed my first wake to wake today! Hopefully i can do one of these next summer.
@DConstructiveCritic2 ай бұрын
You got it. Just remember to keep your elbows bent at 90 degrees on takeoff. The centrivical forces will nearly straighten them all the way to the peak of the jump, but you'll still have a little bend left to pull the board back underneath you.

If I can use my downhill snow skis on water, then there is no reason that he can't use his shalom water ski on snow.

I had this bright idea just now and knew someone had tried it and put it on KZbin 🤣 I can't snow ski but I can slalom ski on water... Now I know it's possible!

Shawn, I saw you compete live in the pro tour back in the late 90’s In Portland Oregon. I appreciate your channel. Thank you for your instruction. I’m finally getting back into wakeboarding and boating now that I’m 40 😂 I can still do a tantrum at least 🙌🏼

Any tips for a rally without a full cut? I’m on a really narrow private lake and am limited to a 60’ rope and about 3/4 cut out to start the trick. I learned raleys way back in the day (on your first rainbow signature board!) but not sure how a 3/4 speed one would turn out.
@DConstructiveCritic2 ай бұрын
Just huck it and make the necessary adjustments..Dont be afraid to fall. Crashing on a raley attempt is almost as impressive as landing it for the viewers on the boat

This is a great video explaining the surface180 but I’m having trouble with breaking the fins loose and actually initiating the surface 180. I don’t understand the pushing the back foot part. Being a beginner should I use fins on my wakeboard?
@charlotte82793 жыл бұрын
Put enough weight on your back foot where the top fin on your board comes out of the water. That way you are only working against 1 fin.
