This years marks 35 years since I entered Teen Challenge. First, its not a perfect program, no different than a perfect church, there isnt one. Is there bad programs and bad staff? Yes just like there is bad teachers, bad pastors, bad coaches, people of all backgrounds can be bad, we all have the capacity to go this way. I can only speak for myself. God used this ministry to save my life, and for many years after, I worked for the ministry, but today, I am a pastor, still not perfect, the church i pastor isnt perfect, the people around me is not perfect, but i know this, where my perfection fails, His doesnt. Where my struggles present themselves, His Grace is sufficient. So yes, I will grant you, there is some bad ones out there, but that doesnt mean everyone, this doesnt mean mostly. When we need grace, we need to give grace, and giving grace does not mean excusing behavior, giving grace means, I recognize my own flaws, my own struggles, my own insecurities and Psalm 91 reminds me to hide myself under the shadow of the Most High God.

As we say in Texas, Tim was a HOOT. Still blessing though he's gone.

Tim and his teachings brought me closer to God in ways I never thought I would, through a medium. He was such a powerful influence in my faith journey. Those years at Hunter College auditorium were foundational to me and my growth. Tim is a gift to all of us from God, an agent of God.

I say this with tears as one who was crushed by works. Tim showed how God could change me from the inside through the Gospel, something that was missing. I was skeptical when Tim preached to pray God's love into your heart until I did it and it happened to me. May God Bless Timothy Keller. From Sydney

Tim…thank you for leaving us with this fun, lighter side of you with your family. You are in my home and on my ride to work most every day and your words have helped me to think deeper and more critically than I ever have. I love how humbly you speak, yet with such straightforward truth that pierces the heart so winsomely. I’m a tinge jealous that you got your upgraded life before the rest of us, but rejoicing with you all the same. You are greatly missed. ❤
