Other egg owners would have to be willing to sell them and they aren’t about to give them up. About a dozen are in US museums, two are in the queens collection, one is in the possession of a Qatari prince, and two are in Switzerland.

For some reason I thought all these eggs were a foot tall, but they're all quite small! About the size of a baseball. The detailing and engineering is masterful work!

No….I don’t think he used actual eggs in any of them. He used gold, silver, platinum, enamel, gemstones and even wood but not actual eggs.

Christie’s isn’t a jewelers though….it’s an auction house, they don’t make jewelry. Shows how little you know. You could’ve mentioned literally anyone else like Cartier’s, Bulgari’s, Harry Winston, or Van Cleef and Arpels.

I really hate that sound and am happy to not have bought that delrin stuff. If I see it bending here it looks really like cheap, stubborn plastic attitude to me. I am using bird quills, I do it myself and I have not this issue. They also don't sound "BAAANG!", like here, but produce a very silvery tone I love very much. Bevor I had also leather and don't like that sound either. I'm only an amateur, but I would basically adjust the tongue more backwards. The quill will point a little more up then and won't hook at the string when the springer falls back. I can leave my bird quills that long, but it doesn't work with the leather quills either, because the tone is also very sharp and nasty then.

@paulaitchison You know NASA scientists and computers found an exactly 24hr. period in history missing and the Bible had it accounted for? Joshua stopped time so that he could finish a battle and he stopped it for exactly 23hrs. and 20 minutes. Later on the prophet Isiah went to the king of Isreal, Izeakah and moved the sun 10 degrees back to prove to the king that he was not going to die yt like the king thought. So NASA was stumped until they read the Bible. How is that for "fiction"?

Who says Jesus was offended with the Opera show? He thinks its hilarious, informative and funny. At least Jesus have sense of humor but catholic scholars just love to create pain in your ass for all eternity. He said it himself. Ask him if you don't believe.
