masterpiece that I return to every now and again and always feel moved by the strong changes in the sections

2:55 is just breathtaking and really when you can hear the rhythm of the song transform into melody. I'd challenge anyone to find an equivalent sound to this in progressive metal.

Atmospheric band to listen in my teens along with Amplifier, pink Floyd, sonic youth, at the drive-in and early biffy If i describe there's sound i would either post rock or post metal. If it wasn't for oceansize, i wouldn't got into swervedriver, my Bloody Valentine, explosions in the sky or mogwai.

Nothing can express how much Oceansize and Mike Vennart mean to me. NOTHING.

This has to be the oldest Biffy/Vennart public collab known to mankind
I friggin love Oceansize! Great albums, fantastic songs. Timeless music right here. Need them to regroup and make a final album, that would be awesome sauce!

So I am going through my Oceansize recordings and uploading them on to here and also onto @t, but I've come across one I labelled 27/09/2006 Bolton. I can't see that they ever played Bolton? The songs played are upto Frames, any clues would be appreciated!

Mike Vennart is an imbecile; a brainless left-wing sheep who thinks it's acceptable to shout disgusting, obscene insults at decent members of the public going about their daily business with their wives. It might be considered acceptable if the cretin, Vennart, could come up with just a small shred of evidence for his vile accusations - but he's incapable of doing so because there IS no evidence, material or circumstantial. If you're reading this, Vennart, salvage a modicum of respect for yourself by contacting the man and the woman you so heinously insulted and humbly apologise: they're better people than you'll ever be.

Hi there, I'm making a documentary about The Sugarmill in Stoke for a university project and just wondered if I could get permission to use a few seconds of footage from this video in it? It's not for profit, and would only really be published for contributors/friends to see, and you'll be fully linked and credited. Thanks, Larry

He is right, it does sound like crap. This band should go back to the basics and learn to play the pentatonic note by note correctly, and then maybe try to record a song. Kidding.
