Do the ships and the fog not remind you of a scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail? ;)

as a french i didn't knew about this movie. I am not sure to understand why the actors have french accent ... was it important for the logic of the movie ?
@AestheticOfTheImage7 сағат бұрын
Well, it's meant to be Marseille in the early 1920s! (An American version that is!) Based on a popular play and musical as well. Leslie Caron was French at least!
@recorr6 сағат бұрын
@@AestheticOfTheImage Ok, i know the original movie, but i don't understand how American spectators can understand. I think i just understand it's like a regional accent, like if it was cajun. Why not.

A very controversial and divisive film. At the time I found the movie extremely brutal, but now years later think...maybe that was the point.

Some Malaysian schools and buildings previously Japanese camps. For example, the teacher academy at Lintang area, Kuching previously Japanese camp. Many training teachers hear something creepy there at night. Security guards did saw Japanese soldier ghosts make military parade at midnight.

But it has subtitles doesn't it? You need to press the captions icon, bottom right hand corner - See here: aestheticoftheimageuk.wordpress.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/screenshot-2024-07-26-at-06.37.32.png?w=1024. As for your second point about the video not playing out, that was due to copyright restrictions, but there is a connected clip here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJK4aat5hNeAp7s
