Hi Mike here I am at almost 70 years old learning slide and never knew about it and the cigar box guitar until I saw Samantha Fish play on You Tube and built one as a kit from MGB ,thanks for telling us about the glass slide I have to get that,I hope I get good at this before the Grim Reaper comes for lol.

You're right about crowd response to cigar box guitars. My youngest son has played some of mine at his gigs, and two different things always happen. At first, the crowd is amazed to see a CBG for the first time, but then, they really go nuts when they hear how it sounds. Then they dance.

Hi Mike, I really look forward to your videos. I'm new to the 3 string cigar box in fact I'm a total beginner and find your method of teaching easy to follow. I would really like to play Sultans of Swing by Dire Straits, although I've seen a couple of versions by other guitarist,however I was wondering what your take on it was.
