I don't care much about that Jag ad (or should I say "Jr", if that's what the logo says now?), I don't even mind the new font. But having seen leaked images of THE CAR... holy Fagioli! My best guess, after the passing of Tata, the new management decided to just prank us all before declaring bankruptcy. I don't believe they actually intend to produce that Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust restomod.

Imagine this vehicle clad in Kevlar as a black limousine? Bulletproof. Interior panels flat screen TV's showing choice views of external cameras. Can't see in, but like having a convertible view from the inside of the passenger compartment. No more dark glass restricting outside view. Huge passenger area. 600 horsepower, AWD, low center of gravity monster vehicle.

Genuinely a bit emotional listening to this. I’ve been a viewer and listener of yours for many, many years now since learning with you on How2 up until today. All the very best for what is sure to be a successful next chapter. You’ve a lot of work still to do, but I believe there’s a Welsh proverb that’s quite fitting for what you’ve started. ‘Deuparth gwaith yw ei ddechrau’. Be well, and I look forward to many more years of listening and learning with you.

Thank you Robert, that was a big day in my life, and it coincided with me having to record an episode of the show on that day to meet the deadline, so the whole story just came flooding out. Published almost completely unedited, and the first ever ep of On Speed to say "Made in Wales By WhizzBang" at the end. The work has started.

I am 60 now but used to videotape Get Fresh back then purely for Gilbert. No disrespect Gaz, i was too old for the real audience at that time. I still have a compilation VHS i made of all of Gilberts best moments. It was legendary, Phil was a genius. I remember him seriously pissing off Kim Wilde, magnificent.

Gilbert once said to Charlotte randomly “Ere what are you doing here, then?” My brother and I found that randomness hilarious. Now and again over the years I’ve said that line to my brother and we both laugh about it remembering it from Gilbert the Alien 😊 A nice memory trail, don’t know how I ended up here 👍🏼

No need to worry Lynnette. 2 days after the final update of this video blog I started the challenge in south Wales. The entire journey was documented by S4C (Channel 4 Wales) and broadcast in Oct/Nov 2021. The 3 episodes have fallen off the BBCiPlayer and Clic (S4C's streaming service) at the moment, but will reappear when the series is repeated.
