Bro I’m in middle school (now 8th) and we had to learn this whole song in a month to preform infront of the school, I was the loudest trombone (out of 3 girls) so I had to carry measures 64 and 123 (I think I don’t have the music anymore) and it sucked. But this was cool to watch even tho it’s sight reading

Great demonstration!! The organ sounds wonderful in that room. The organ has some powerful reed stops.
@billraty142 ай бұрын
A flute organ, and the pitch emphasis on each division is an octave higher than it should be. Perhaps because of vertical constraints (a stopped flute is only half as tall as its speaking length).

Hi Daniel, great idea to have the 25 days of Christmas played on 25 different organs. Really enjoyed this song "Joy To The World". Hopefully you can do this again in the future.

Hi Daniel, thanks for describing and playing the stops on this Wendhack Organ. I was surprised that they just have 2 pedal stops. The full organ sounded great.
@romanlizak46443 ай бұрын
The one from Ann Arbor is currently in my boss’s shop in pieces. Most likely going to be parted out. It was originally built by Robert Fouser who was an Ann Arbor based builder and Wendhack did some work on the organ. Due to its construction it most likely will not be reassembled for future use

I think we are doing this on Holy Thursday our parish choir. But most likely everything from the Agnus Dei on Palm Sunday - Easter Vigil Jesus Christ Is Risen Today or Entrance Jesus Christ Is Risen Today on Easter Sunday will be on the Piano so our choir director can conduct and play at the same time! Plus we have a Guitarist, a Flute Player, A Recorder and a Violinist. When my mom was playing before she died in August of 2020 she would play organ and piano both throughout Holy Week and our choir director would conduct. Except Easter Sunday my mom did the Early Mass and choir director did the other two. God Bless! 😀

I enjoyed your tour of these Walker organ stops. I had never heard of this brand before, sounds are pretty typical, reminds me of the Allen at our church. I would have liked to have heard the reeds that I usually use as solo stops with an accompaniment. If you ever do another tour, think of doing that rather than just playing them as chords. Again, I enjoyed this tour. Thank you.

Were you on the cruise as a solo passenger or were you with family? I recall on previous vlogs you were on previous cruises with family. I'm surprised you as a young adult are so into HAL... surely Royal Caribbean or Carnival or MSC appeal more to those in their twenties?

What my academic advisor calls any Airbus. He retired from American back in ‘17 after flying the Boeing side of the fleet

Beautiful approach...BUT!... I've flown the A321 to MIA and FLL many times and never anything like the "dog barking". AA needs to get out the WD40...Yikes!...😅

So, you made this so we could hear the malfunctioning hydraulic system that sounds like a dog barking, right? Is that why it was "scary?"
@danielobrien77386 ай бұрын
I only call it a Scarebus because that what my academic advisor called them. He retired from American in 2017 and flew all their Boeings, minus the 747

I can tell just by the winglet that that is indeed a 737 not a319
@roblancs6 ай бұрын
It is an Airbus, you can tell by the metal leading edge of the sharklet and the yellow anchor point mid wing. Likely a 320 and not a 319 though. The other clue is it's not nose-diving into the ground.
@danielobrien77386 ай бұрын
@@roblancsyou are indeed correct! Plus, a 737’s wing lights are on the trailing edge rather than embedded in the sharklets as Airbus has. It is an A319, given there is only 1 over-wing door on each side
@AviationFun7376 ай бұрын
Look at the flaps, the 737 has another actuation half way down the flap, where as on every Airbus except the 321 it’s a single panel
