Hello thfcccfht, so nice to read your comments, my friend and schoolmate Duggie Drew lived in the prefabs in Gadesden Road not sure though of his number now but it was close and opposite to the field , and footpath through to Ruxley Lane., that field is now a housing estate. I used to call for him on my way to Ewell Court from my house . Like you I started school at Ruxley Lane infants and primary school although 12 years before you, It’s still a school today. Ewell court is still mostly quiet and peaceful I was also there visiting again on the 19 July 2022 when the highest temperature ever recorded in Britain happened we found shade under the huge trees.

Still keep pushing forward with progress, it is a shame we don’t open to the public nowadays since covid but we still hold regular members days. Cheers

Wayne Blake, I agree yes it is, but Gringley on the Hill quite close to Gainsborough where I was filming is in Nottinghamshire.

Enjoyed the video though,I would have been there as part of the Muddsters group but I was at Silverstone for MG Live. Just pointed it out as nobody likes to be associated with Gainsborough, it's a #@*! hole

@@wayneblake1161 Wayne, in saying that, we think Gainsborough has a fantastic LIDL store and of course The Old Hall is unique. They ought to do more with the riverside to put it on the map.

@@anthonycatherall2718 personally have never and will never shop at any German discount store. Old Hall is the only asset. Your entitled to your opinion but the best part of Gainsborough is driving straight through and out!
