Ahh, I did do a channel update recently where talked about what has been going on. ^^ Havent been the best couple of years. Both of my parents have passed on now, mother this year, and well... that always involves a lot of things to sort out, like the house situation etc. Plus Vissenekku one of the people we played borderlands here on is also gone.... So in that sense this game seemed like a fitting choise right now. As been quite a bit of loss. ^^ But thats how life is afterall, everyone gotta deal with those things eventually, no matter when it will be. But should be better in the future year when get a move done eventually, and hopefully get to making more videos as well. That is the aim at the very least. ^^

I'm a sucker for turn-based tactics and RPGs, which you do play occasionally. I'm also the one person on your channel who'd like you to finish the Star Control 2 playthrough from a hundred years ago. It's a real classic.

Yeah, I actually at the time did record the whole game, but cause the recording progress was not the best, plus having to add my michrophone audio, I would have to find my old video files on it, and see if I had everything to actually make the videous. ^^ It is pretty stupid to even have in reality played it through, but then just not having the end product. ^^ Could start the game again too, its not like I remember how my game ended etc, it has been a while afterall. But yeah it is a cool game of course. ^^ And the turn based rpg games i will for sure play more, wanna continue on my icewind dale journey. ^^

Just as a clarification, made the mistake of recording... I dunno was it even 6 hours in a row, and especially with it been more complicated editing process was for certainty a mistake! I am sure I lost, as I remember there was something I was supposed to find in time limit, and I presume I failed at that. But this is what happens, when dont remember anymore when been too long. ^^ But well if I figure out davince resolve better as a editing software, maybe it will make editing the stuff easier, and can return to some of the old things i have recorded.... It is kind of a shame, as now at least with obs a lot of old games are easier to record... not that it would be impossible to just play it again and record, when its been so long time, plus its not like I remember too much! But still... it was the original attempt, so would be nice to use that footage... just would mean having to dust old archives and get to work. =P

@@KideRusha Yes, its always nice to see people do a fully blind playthrough. Star Control 2 has a relatively generous time limit, but you can get caught out if you miss a couple important things.

Hey thanks for the suggestions. ^^ I have done some collaborations on KZbin before, just been a while other than the few friends co-op's I have been doing. But sure, it could be fun to do some more. I checked out "All The Shinies" channel a bit, and they seem like a nice guy. Would like to see where you had this comment with them. I should be careful right now still getting involved with collaborations, specifically when with the move etc its tough to commit to a proper schedule, but yeah Ill keep it in mind. They are of course way bigger channel though, so generally would not be asking to collaborate with them. ^^ Dont like to be a so to speak "gold digger". =P Prince of persia warrior within was fun for sure. ^^ And I did play it blind too, though of course at least one of the secrets I did get audience help to find, as forgot where it was! So yeah there can be common ground, unsure which games would be best though. Regardless thanks for the input. ^^

Well, do you have any idea what would be a good type of collaboration idea? ^^ Those are not that easy to think off, some games certainly fit more to be played with 2 players or more, but some certainly are more of a single player games. But yeah Ill think on it, and see if I contact them at some point. ^^

@KideRusha thanks for responding! a few suggestions for collaboration gaming - would be: #1 something new, a fresh start on a new franchise that neither you nor whoever collaborates, has played before: Something new, your channel audiences, can look forward, too, as well as yourselves! #2 A game that's has multiple tiers of diffculities & of course has, online multiplayer/co-op squad: Gears of War would be a great franchise to begin! The diffculity tiers are robust & the graphics are great with plenty of action ! Necropolis - & - Aliens, Fireteam Elite - & - Aliens, Colonial Marines; Call of Duty & Halo Franchises, too would be other great games to build momentum & maximum the fun factor for your audiences! #3 let your channel audiences, pick from a selection of games; that you & whoever has narrowed down, to make the channels more involved. I would suggest, doing this, after a solid friendship has been built, between you & whoever you choose to collaborate with. #4 built new friendships & have fun doing it! consider playing games, that, you & whoever may not play normally - as to give rise to more multiplayer collaboration action on your channels promote each others channels & encourage, more collaborations with other new channels! Despite loving that game, I only finished it for the first time this year (20 something years after first playing it). Also missed that laugh of yours. I'm glad it has stayed despite all the sadness

Heeey! I am okke, but just a lot of changes and things that have had to be doing this summer and year in general. ^^ Both of my parents now are gone, and had to try to empty and sell a lot of things that were left behind, then their house etc... So not the most fun times. Then planning a move when possible... So just too much to do really. But I do wanna do the advent calendar again this year. Probably sometimes next month can make some sort of video, or at least prepare episodes for the advent calendar, so that wont have to be in a hurry with the episodes later. ^^ Thanks for asking thooough!

Yap no worriess! ^^ Yes I did have a sister, she lives in Italy though, but has spend also a lot of time now at summer in Finland cause of this. I had brother too, but he hasent been too involved.... well as a lawyer at the very least dealt with the paper works, which is something. =P And yeah... depends. ^^ It is stressfull... and it is sad to give up on the childhood home too.... but its just too much work for me, need someone who knows how to renovate stuff themselves really. ^^ And thanks for asking. ^^

I like icewindale2, did u do one on that? I never liked the thaco stuff in icewindale. I do prefer IWD series to BG series. But im more about combat, than story. Nice presentation on your vid.

Not yet, I have to play icewind dale 1 through, and I never completed icewind dale 2 back in the day, so will do second one then afterwords. ^^ Just right now had longer break on making videous, have had a lot of real life stuff that had to get into. Will continue more in the autumn. ^^ And yeah both combat and story are important to me. But icewind dale anyhows does have a very good atmosphere, but maybe I am biased as a finn, when enjoy plenty of snow here... and well icewind dale 2 has the finnish based little village too, has some familiar names in there. ^^

@@KideRusha i just got done with IWD2, there is a free EE mod beamdog, to patch it. Played in 1080p, and i installed separate Priest mod, to get orc god Gruumsh for your cleric, gives +poleams with that god. Made a Cleric/Fighter. i liked being a half orc +20 starting. strength. Have to install mod right though, cause was meant for nonEE. Another classes mod too, that you can set your own subrace starting bonus, thats cool meant for NonEE, but if play around with it can figure it out, backed game up first.

No no, I say in the end that will have an extra episode for today to actually finish the game. ^^ Was just longer than expected, or with my playstyle, but for sure will, do address it later on in the episode as well. ^^

I understand that they really would wanna see finish to another game, so they just dont care about anything else... The thing is these streams were also made earlier this autumn, so this really did not take any extra time away from me, especially when they do not require editing. ^^ But I know I have had the tendency of not finishing all games, so that is understandable frustration... just this sort of an outburst does not help in anyway getting the content they would wish to see... Plus anyhows I like to play a variety of games, that at the very least is to be expected if someone wants to be subbed to me. ^^ But yap this definitely is a worthy successor to Psychonauts 1!

Thank you for the play-through 😊 It was unexpected how much story they got into a puzzle game, I think I only played it in coop years ago and don’t remember a lot of story depth. Shame the game didn’t explore the relationship between that crazy inventor and Caroline further, I would like to hear more voice recordings and such. Maybe also an explanation needed why every AI inevitably corrupts when attached to the whole system, Glados did touch on it a little bit, but she spoke of prolonged effects, while Wheatley and new Glados changed their behavior almost instantly. And yeah, I feel like Potato-Glados is truly gone with Caroline’s deletion :(

There we go. I first played this game many, many years ago. It was during the christmas holidays and I finished it at around two 'o clock at night. Knew that Ellen McLain, the voice of GLaDOS and all the turrets is an opera singer but wasn't expecting an opera at the end of the game. It burned into my weird brain so tightly that I could recite it from memory almost instantly. Despite the fact that I don't know Italian at all. And yes of course this ending gets to me. There are a few game endings that really has stuck with me over the years. This, and the final mission of Mass Effect 2 really come to mind any time those are discussed.

Speaking of Ellen, I like what she said about Caroline being deleted. Of course she's just the actor, not an authority. But still. She thinks that GLaDOS wouldn't waste any resource. No matter how small. So Caroline would still be there. Even if reduced into a floppy disk, she's still there. And I think so too. Especially since the ending song specifically says "Now little Caroline is in here too."

this is taking a long time... Maybe google 'pc cheatcodes portal 2' you can just type in some things to find your way through the puzzles easier. Then just quit the game and do JJ2 LOL

Well I would not do that, but sure sometimes you are not thinking of the right answer. But cheating is then that whats the point of playing the game if you do that, or recording either. But yeah sometimes one is stupid, but guess you breezed through everything easily. =P You can always skip forward in the video yourself too, if something is taking too long. ^^ Should not be too big of an issue.

Want to know something funny when potatOS screamed the paradox the Franken turrets actually got fired implying that the paradox worked on them because they are smarter than wheatley and also there was a gel that was going to let you walk on walls but got removed because it gave people motion sickness and last thing chell your character was the one who made that potato battery the one that grew up to the ceiling she is the daughter of a scientist and she can actually talk but chooses not to because she does not want to give glados and wheatley the satisfaction of speaking

I think the last few points are speculation, but interesting ideas anyway. 😄 The developers did clearly intend it so that the potato experiment is Chell's, because that signature is very intentional. It's just very difficult to make out a clear backstory. How she would go from a child brought in by scientist parent(s), gets locked in and becomes a test subject in her adult age. Wearing an orange jumpsuit reserved for bankruptcy-era subjects. It doesn't seem to fit. But anything is possible.

I mean I saw a theory that chell is the daughter of doug rattman the only surviving scientist and the cave Johnson and Caroline is still going strong and a theory that she is the daughter of Gorden Freeman because of simalitys between them like they both don't talk but I don't see her being a Freeman I don't believe that theroy

I wonder if you did remember anything that the "I'm different" turret said near the beginning of the game. Wouldn't expect you to have remembered, but it's pretty neat to think back on it.

I dont think said that much in the start when we first met it. Or I re watched that part, and yeah not too much said then, just the hello, excuse me, and I am different. ^^ On the other hand the other part where we saved it later I should re watch, I wish could have listen to more it said then too, considering I went too far and stopped the talks earlier. ^^

Yeah, after we saved the turret though, then yeah was very interesting things, I do wonder what or who it exactly is. Said her name is Caroline, which it indeed is afterall, I did remember that said that get mad before too, that is certainly line that Glados has also used, and talk of lemonades. ^^ That turret sure knew more than others.

It would not be part of the advent calendar, it would be just finishing them off, but as said would need to find my audio. It might be saved on my old computer, I do hope so. And this comment was also blocked by youtube originally, who knows why.

You actually found an easier way to solve this level than I did when I first played it 10years ago. But my way worked too, in my case it was solved by learning shooting portals faster below me while going out of the other portal but you just found a way to get high by going in that tower-like thing.
