As a season ticket holder for the last 17 years, I’m so glad I sit on the away side. Judging from the audio and videos, home side energy looks mid. Away side is always big on energy and loud. Even when we are losing we are still jumping up and screaming.

cool! this came up after watching like 3 hours of top DCI drumline warmups but the execution was still impressive. the WRITING was fantastic. I know some of it was borrowed / inspired from drumlines from like 25 years ago which is so cool to see still happen and things get remixed. the overall vibe with the band singing along was amazing too. thanks for sharing!

It was not realistic to expect that they would be as sound given that you lost 3 starters and some of the key pieces from the coaching staff. Henry will be fine hopefully but this is his first stint as a coordinator and you lost the linebacker coach so there are new pieces both with the staff and rotation. It will get worked out.

incredible video. The Illini have the tightest drumline in the country. The snares are crisp and dry. The bass is beyond tight. This level of memorization is insane. Good to see this generation continuing strong. This is better than 95% of America's Got Talent auditions. I was a trombonist for this band back in 2007, and it's good to hear modernization.

Cool vid. From 2:07-3:18, is that pregame hype video before they come out of the tunnel available on the internet anywhere? I think it’s awesome and I unfortunately didn’t film it during the home games that I went to this year. Has the team account released it or anything by chance?
