Mila Smith

Mila Smith is an emerging pop and soul artist from Cape Town, South Africa. With diary-style lyrics that peel back the curtain on her personal experiences, the 20- year-old has a soulful heart-on-sleeve sound and soaring emotional vocals that express a maturity and storytelling ability beyond her young years.

Blending a swirl of various influences like Adele, Olivia Rodrigo, London Grammar and Dua Lipa, Mila similarly brings an intensity and poignancy to her music that’s rare for a young talent.

Mila shortly signed with Apple’s creative artist services company, Platoon as a solo artist. She had been on Platoon’s radar since she was 13-years-old and the company wasted no time in perfecting her sound by having her be a part of Ko-Lab, an artist development initiative where she teamed up with seasoned writers and record producers to create original music.

In October 2023, Mila released her debut EP: You Need Therapy which is out now on all streaming platforms.
