they have training in place, but it's shit-tier. I learned way more listening to you. Now I understand what the deal is. All they ever said was "don't click on anything if it looks suspect. Sign here. You've been trained."

I'm not a pheasant plucker I'm a pheasant pluckers son and I'm only plucking pheasants until the present pheasant plucker comes. Now without reading it, say it. 3 times fast. Fun tongue twister. The person who said they aren't a lock picker reminded me of this. Also everyone should know this because it's some sage advice... "Confucius say man who pass gas in church must sit in his own pew" All Confucius jokes are better when said aloud. -Ok one more I can't help it, I got it from my dad- Confucius say, "man with hole in pocket feel cocky all day" And here I am trying to learn about locks because I need to find one ASAP that I can use to keep some very important things locked away from my new housemates. The reason the Indian guys love Richard Gere so much, I'm guessing, may have fo do with the fact that he's an incredible man and practicing Buddhist who actually uses what he has learned to be a force of good in the world. ❤

How do you pronounce nonce in cryptography? A nonce is also used in cryptography (see cryptographic hash function). Pronounced like the "nons" in "nonsense," nonce is actually an English word that means "for the present occasion or time."

Awesome talk with the exception of the land acknowledgement at the beginning. Natives should be thanking white people for colonizing this land. Whites didn't "Steal" any land, They conquered it. Before us there was no written language, no scientific advancements and human sacrifice or cannibalism everywhere. Maybe this guy should live in Hati or Sudan where the natives still control the land and kill all the colonist while also rejecting any form of law and order. I have a feeling this guy owns a home in said stolen land he lectured us on.

As a security engineer of digital things, it’s amazing to hear the LPL talk about the mindset of the attacker. I love that he emphasizes the necessity of creativity. I think he inspired me, and hopefully lots of others, into realizing how important our mindsets are when thinking of attack vectors and responses.

Some of the now thousands of different SAINTCON minibadges being displayed in a case. We had over 300 new this year, with likely many more than that. You can find tutorials on how to make them and what they are elsewhere on the channel.
At SAINTCON, a cybersecurity convention in Utah, there are things people can trade call minibadges. These are 2cm x 2cm PCB boards that people can solder LEDs and resistors to make them light up. Overall, they are one of the staples of the con and I personally love designing them.
