Do you film horizontal and crop? Or vertical?

I film in both. No cropping. It takes more time but because I want to give the best look for whatever style I post either shorts or full length videos 😊

@@nostalgic.1995 copy that I’m kind of in the same situation where I have to film both, but this camera doesn’t really make it easy for vertical.

Right? Is it a bit hard to hold tight while filming?

haha yes you should!!! It’s gonna help a lot. After a while I kinda get better at holding it right..still a tiny bit shaking but less and I take it as effects for my vids 😂

How do you capture your audio? Do you have an external mic? Also have you considered getting a macro lens to show off some relaxing detail shots I feel like it would add to your style a lot! Also you should if you don’t have them get a black mist filter!

I don’t have external mic, all the nature sounds are straight from the camera but I would say the camera mic is not the best but still great to me. I haven’t thought of getting a macro lens but I do love filming nature a lot…hmmm maybe that’s a good idea!!! Seems like I’m missing out because I heard about black mist filter a lot…well thank you for the recommendation 🤩

@@nostalgic.1995 sweet! Yeah I just bought a pro mist filter by K&F I'd recommend them. They are like $20-30 per filter. Also I got this lens: TTArtisan 40mm f/2.8 Macro Lens for Micro Four Thirds M43 It's very good for the price!

@@nostalgic.1995 heck yeah I’m really excited to see what kinds of content I can get. I make coffee KZbin videos and I wanna try and get some cool closeups. Honestly if I were you I’d get the 1/4 k&f black mist filter I wish I had gotten it… you don’t get the best effect with the 1/8!

Sounds lovely!!! I’m looking forward to seeing your contents I know they’re going to be great. Oh really!? Well thanks for letting me know then I will try the 1/4 because I would want to have good amount of effects on the shots. You can always get 1/4 later and see the difference. I believe they all have their own things :)

Gotta love it please let me know your camera settings!!! Just got the gx85 and am trying to figure out some good settings!

@nostalgic.1995 14 күн бұрын
Hi there tbh my settings are nothing special, most of the time I shoot with this disposable len because I like that cinematic vibe. I would set “expressive” in Creative Mode (the painting icon), exposure around -1/3 or -2/3 depending on how much light I got. Sunny days are the best :) For normal lens I just do Auto Intelligent, it’s not bad at all 😅 still messing around and figuring out too. Anyways I hope it helps a little bit and have fun with your new camera!
