I'm enjoying painting my knights for Legions Imperialis. I'm starting with knight house Veronni. My knight will probably be Legio Mortis, or Legion Solaria. I don't plan on running them together to seperate alliances with Veronii doesn't bother me. How hard is Adedptus Titanicus to learn for this who play. Ive been debating on the two player starter

way back when this product was new I split a collectors edition box with my brother. it was the same set, 1 of each card in silver border. for years most of the main characters and good rares we had to play with came from that set. more recently my brother and I split on some boxes of a later set (trouble with tribbles, which has original series and deep space 9 themed cards). cracking open packs of a set I never got to see at the time is a lot of fun.

I don't think I ever saw Heroica as a kid. I DID however get Minotaurus which I always liked. Played that less than I should've.

I have my collection in huge 4 stockbooks, the large amount of cards, but I'm still lacking some of them, like Darth Vader or General Veers and even some commons and uncommons. Do you have any cards left that are doubled and you would like to sell these and I would buy from you? We could trade or sell. I have many doubles too. Ord Mantell for instance, in case of Hoth and many more. many of my cards are taken straight from the pack and never used. Some of other cards are used. PS. I presume these cards you have here are used and bought from many sources? They are not taken straight from the booster pack, at least all of them?

This came out when i was in college and i managed to get some fellow nerds to play with me.

I purchased a warlord titan. I doubt I will ever buy the normal 40k scale one from forge world. So the smaller scale will do. It was fun for me to assemble and paint. I’m fighting the urge to buying another.

I just picked up the starter set and plan to do Praesagius and Vornherr. I’d love to see how you painted these. They look excellent.

Nice looking Titans. I planned to do Ultramarines and Sons of Horus in Legions Imperialis. I'm not very familiar with all the Titan houses, and the Knight retinues so it was great seeing your Titans associated with Ultramarines. I should have figured it would be blue and white. I'm hoping for some clarity in the upcoming rule book. Are the colors of the titans for Sons of Horus teal and black by any chance?

One of the most underrated Lego themes ever made, I remember when they first were released when I was a kid

It is a shame that it got discontinued so quickly. I managed to get not only all four sets, but three of the Castle Fortaan, because I wanted to run all three builds as one giant adventure. It's sad to learn that there were two other sets which I never saw on store shelves. While I may live in the Midwest United States, when I saw Heroica, I tried to keep pretty current with it as best I could. The Iluran Caverns(?) set adds 3 new characters, including the Heroica King, and new enemies not seen in the other 5 such as Zombies and a Vampire Lord. (I'm counting the plastic pack in the number.) I can't get those micro figures. I found that the rules are very simple, and wanted something more like Hero Quest. Descent: Journeys in the Dark does modular adventures pretty well, but doesn't have the complete customization you could get with Lego, and isn't quite as endearing. Regardless, there are things I would have loved to have seen, like Mini Figures of the Micro Figures. There's something about seeing the weapons in the hands of the character. And, it rekindled an interest in Roleplaying, either via Pathfinder or DnD to get better game experience and character growth. And, I want to do it with Legos. Makes me wish the fantasy castle lines with Trolls and Dwarves hadn't vanished so quick.

Excellent showcase! I´ve just recently started playing AT after collecting the models and watching Tabletop Standard´s batreps for years. I really love the game, time just flies while playing since every step of every phase is so engaging, and the game gives you so much flexibility to make your force and react to your enemy...

Just picked up a starter set and will be painting them up as Legio Krytos since I plan on going with Iron Warriors in Legions Imperialis. Got some knights and painting them as an undefined household in blue grey, white and orange red with silver trim. Pretty hyped for Legions Imperialis since Space Marine 2nd editions is my all time favorite miniatures wargame and L.I. is that with better list building.

Sad that this game is dead, but, ive been looking to make my own builds, a little more complex than what LEGO offered though. As for why it fizzled out, is mosr to do with the fact that its mostly aimed at children, and not the more older board game enthusiasts. Hobby shops would have been the perfect place to sell this game at.

Im trying to find one for cheap i found one in a thrift store once but i didnt have money with me so i came in the day after and it was sold it only costed 10 bucks.

Loving the legion mate, my personal legion too but I can say yours are miles ahead of mine in terms of detail keep up the awesome work!

what a coincidence that the only heroica retrospective was released 2 days before i tried to find one. looking forward to the upcoming videos since i had the core set but none of the expansions although i wish i did.

Great video! I'm so bummed that this series came out in the dark times between loving Lego as a kid and falling back in love and actually buying myself Lego as an adult. Heroica was a marriage of two thing that I really love, board games and Legos. I hope we can continue to grow our little community and eventually Lego will do something like Heroica again. There is so much untapped potential and now with the Dungeons and Dragons collaboration, there's never been a better time to make a micro dungeon crawler system. Thanks for making the video and being a part of the community!
