Pound for pound, Tocchet was one of the best, if not the best. His balance while throwing left and right haymakers on skates is so impressive. I loved him when he was with the Flyers, I am from Edmonton but I loved the Flyers in that era...Leclair, Hextall, Kerr, Lindros, Mark Howe, etc. I cheered for the Flyers when they played the Oilers, I was at a game when Tocchet fought an Oiler...I believe it was Kevin McLelland...and Tocchet tuned him up! I'm a hardcore homer Oiler fan now and the fact he's the Canucks coach is concerning... :)

Hell of a player. He's one of those players who could have played in any era and done well. He's a damn good coach as well.

That boy found a war father in otherwise, after losing his family, unapproachable Josey Wales. The boy knew that among the rough crowd Josey is in fact the gentlest of them all, that this "pa" wouldn't let him die. Josey's guilt is too great, not to mention that this lad is his war buddy, that they are everything that's been left of the old crew. It's clear that in this "equation" this war brutalized boy is equally rough, that he couldn't have became a young guerilla fighter if he wasn't able to keep his own in a brawl or in a firefight. Yet he's still a very young lad, if he had survived and followed Josey to the end of the journey, it's possible that he would find his peace too, that he would be bound to the small community, rewarded for being its protector, that he'll, same as Josey, turn his anger and his skill towards those who should bear the full brunt of his trade. Young lad, like Josey, protecting the productive peace loving crowd, regardless of its race and creed, by exterminating the evil parasitic destructive vermin, again regardless of its race and creed.

Eddie Johnstone was a tough little fighter as long as he didn't try to go too high over his weight. It looks like he was looking for someone to fight here, but nobody would go.

How completely insane is it that Nolan had to go through the Bruins bench to get to the room. Oh how I love everything about this NHL, which is in unrecognizable from Bettman’s NHL of today.

Ex - Soo Greyhound, as he was fun to watch in his junior years. That was the real and old school hockey back then, not so much anymore, as Bettman took the character and passion out of the game, just my opinion.
