I graduated in 2020 (my mother was a teen mom throughout high school so I’ve experienced 7 years of it so far and can identify the differences in use) in the early 2000s at the same highschool they had these big pocketed posters . Every student had to put a phone in there and if you were caught with a back up it was held in a publicly viewable and under surveillance glass safe .if you just had it in class it went there for a week if it was used to cheat on a test 2.this is the only way you could safely do this and it would require a school wide waiver to hold the phone’s legally nowadays.in modern times you have school employees selling confiscated phones ,students cheating on test ,extreme parental backlash towards confiscation,lack of respect towards teachers ,students listening to music during class . This is the difference between a learned behavior and a born behavior you’ll also see this with the smokers .early 2000s high schools would occasionally have a kid smoke a cig sneakily in the bathroom but modern potheads that are starting in 6th grade will freely rip nic and carts and occasionally smoke a blunt in the lock picked teacher’s bathroom. And a lot of the blame actually falls on the parents, you’ve seen on social media of the parents letting thier kids smoke as young as 3 years old .not even in just bad areas my town had almost no actual crime or junkies roaming around we had a very small section 8 area that was mostly well kept and just had people down on thier luck .we still had parents who knew thier kids were selling drugs and they’d support them letting them openly sell out of thier house use thier cars for runs refuse to let the school search thier bags

The only real way to fix the American education system would be boarding schools for troubled and gifted children all in one school . A lot of gifted children will become troubled adults either due to the paceing of education,lack of opportunity due to home influences,general bad home influences. and this is also true for a lot of “troubled”children . Offering a space of alternative education would take these kids away from regular classes where they wouldn’t typically get the full benefit of school either due to the fault of the school or the person. A lot of troubled kids just find a hard time relating school to what they view as useful but with a teacher trained in counseling philosophy or psychology they can crack their shell . It benefit both groups with troubled kids having more boldness and confidence while gifted children are usually booksmart but also kinda useless outside thier niche . The theory is by placing them in the same environment it would humble both and allow both groups to rub off on eachother stopping gifted children from feeling burn out over small things and makeing them take more chances for success while also benefiting the children who would typically act as a distraction towards most of the class by offering them constant and unique approaches to learning

@garylew548. If your camera requires POE ( Power over Ethernet) to function, then you need a router to be power it. This device is mainly for wireless systems like tablet, laptops, phones..etc. . Also, check the camera specs and make sure the POE port on the router or small hub is higher than what the camera is asking for. So the camera is completely wireless and solar, which seems not to be the issue. The issue more lay with the Home Base. The home base won't take data wireless and needs to be connected via Ethernet.
