Thank you, for posting this clip, brings back great memories I've always enjoyed them, the Drumline had a nickname of the Chrome wall, I believe they took first place in drumming at most competitions play show, was always exhilarating, it would get the crowd Standing Ovation time and time again. Unfortunately today we no longer have real drum and bugle c o r p s . In my opinion DCI has turned the activity into a marching band competition, superimposed on a three-ring circus . Former member of the Floyd Bennett golden eagles from Brooklyn New York 1960 and 1961 also former member of the Long Island sunrises 1964 through 1968. Today is October 23rd 2023. Again thank you for posting this clip

Classic John Patrick! Thanks for putting this video up. This must be from the early local cable access days; whereas, we discovered John later, when his show 'So You Wanna Be A Gambler' was airing on FNN (Financial News Network) in the mid-late 80s. I had the pleasure to meet JP a few times in Atlantic City, and he was wonderful to us each time we had the pleasure of his company. Hands-down JP is one - if not the - favorite gambling author in my library.

I appreciate all of the comments and enthusiasm for these uploads. As a kid who got a cassette recorder for xmas in the early 70’s , it became my tradition of recording NYE and Guy Lombardo and not Dick Clark until right after the ball drop. Being dragged to NYE gatherings to relatives and friends houses didn’t stop me. I held the microphone up to the tv speaker and asked everyone to be quiet until midnight lol . I am having a hard time locating 75-76. I am trying to remember if I recorded it . Rest assured , if I find it , it will hit youtube. I can say that it was a big deal when 75 turned to 76 as it officially kicked off the bicentennial and Guy Lombardo led the nation in singing “Happy Birthday” right after Auld Lang Syne.
