I wanted to keep it in the rev range and hear that nice engine note! Going all the way up to sixth gear was rather unnecessary given the speeds we were going 😇

One point regarding the wrist and ergonomics: it strongly depends on a person. Unfortunately, there are VERY limited options when it comes to adjusting position for a rider, so the very same bike might be a comfortable ride for one person, Ok for another and a real torture for yet another. It's shameful that bikes offer less options to adjust for height and dimensions that bloody bicycles, not to mention cars.

You're absolutely right! The one trick everyone has told me to use was more core than anything else. Lots of things to keep in mind and think about while riding!

I use a DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for the walkaround shots and a DJI Action 3 for my riding shots!

For a sport bike did you find it comfortable? Do you think you could tool around on it for a few hours?

Honestly, as long as you don't have a backpack, you'll be fine for a few hours. I usually ride with a backpack, so I imagine I'd need some breaks. The aggressive nature of the RSV4 will make you just enjoy the bike as it truly is: a race bike for the road!

I do and I enjoy it! I did state in the video I wasn’t going to shift the gears during those pulls 😇. If I were on an actual highway I would have!

I have an Aprilia Tuono v4 1100rr(2022),the engine like the RSV4 is quick even in low gears,don't need to change gears!Car's always pull out in front of bike's so you need to ride defensive! The power is there always so you just have to know when you can use it !

Hell yeah! I really like the bike, though I'm not sure if I am personally ready for a liter sport bike. Will need a few more miles and rides under my belt... potentially a track day!

I remember doing a test drive at CalMoto on the same route and hitting that same dip in the road that you hit. Sneaks up on you for sure.

Wicked bike 🔥 Can't lie....the design is really outstanding/agressive yet somehow a little bit " dated, just a humble opinion. Maybe because it's a track focused bike they're not worried about un necessary fuss!

Honestly, a bike like this should still stand the test of time in both performance and style. My F4i is obviously old but I think it looks good and comparable to other bikes on the market today! That’s all we can really ask for haha 🥲

Don’t worry about all these negative comments about your shifting habits. I own a 2022 Z900 and I love to keep it in the RPM sweet spot riding in town. Ride on brother and keep safe!! ✌️

Hey thanks! I really appreciate that. At the time of this video, I was still a relatively new rider. Ryan F9’s video about shifting and RPMs was fresh in my mind, and so I did think keeping it in the sweet spot as you noted was how I could get the most out of the bike. Can’t do 6th gear and lug the engine around in stoplight to stoplight traffic! Ride safe too! ✌️

It's great that all the weight is down low, so it did not feel like a burden trying to keep it up. I'm flat-footed here so that helps!

Obviously before they sent you out on the demo, they didn't explain this bike has more than three gears and you didn't seem willing to find out for yourself (poor style), still with that kind of riding, you'll be able to tell your buddy this bike gets eight miles to the gallon!!

Boomer take. Imagine telling someone to get up to 6th gear in stop and go traffic with a group of people. Use some sense here, mate. The RPMs need to make sense with every shift, otherwise you just lug the engine unnecessarily.
