Am so bummed that this young, beautiful, vibrant, funny, and kind friend died. We never met but had planned on doing so. Dana didn’t mind befriending a 75-year-old. - she had a heart for all. Thank you for such a lovely remembrance.

Thanks for making this. I met her on facebook about a year ago or so cause we shared the same spelling of our name. I had nothing but positive interactions with Dana and even though I never met her, I'm glad to have known her for the time that I did. RIP Dana.

Thank you for making this. I spent a significant amount of time with Dana in my early 20’s. She always had an impact on me. When I was at the lowest in my life, felt worthless and at rock bottom, she made me feel human again. I’m so sad to see she’s gone.

Thank you for making this 💕 As somebody who got to know and love her over the years, I truly appreciate it. We met back when she began working at Black Cat and had many fun times together. After we stopped working across from one another, we still kept in contact and occasionally ran into one another out in the wild. I remember seeing both of you out at Bingo at Screwdriver. Her smile and laugh have always been infectious and she made a point to check in with me when I posted my own health updates. We were lucky to be blessed by her love 💕 Now she gets to party up above with my Mom and Aunt -- they'd have loved her.

I cannot overstate how deeply heartbroken I am to hear this. Dana was my next door neighbor in Wallingford and we looked after each other's pets when we went on vacations, and I went with her to Renton when she picked up Louie to adopt him 🥺 last year she posted some troubling messages on instagram and I messaged her. She had mentioned she was having seizures and I was very worried about her being alone. She didn't want anyone in her family to know, and I debated whether she'd be mad if I called 911 but decided it was the right thing to do. I waited for the angry message from her a few days later but it never came. Instead, she mentioned how a bunch of hot firefighters came over 😂 what a tragic loss for the people who loved her, Dana was so irreverent and I am really glad I knew her, even if it wasn't that well.

I'm so glad you knew her and I know she could not be upfront with everything going on in her life for some reason. She kept some things to her self. Some of those things I wish she was more open with. She is really missed and loved.

Thanks for posting Hayes. It's not uncommon AT ALL. I'm going through similar things, and I haven't posted a new video in 2 years. I've essentially quit photography, but I'm trying to be creative in other ways, and figure out a way to, as you say, bring people along on it. And I disagree about your "talking head" skills. You come across as sincere and genuine. Sounding like a nightly news anchor is not a plus in my book. Peace, and sending positive vibes your way.

Nice shots. Did you use a 220 back or you converted a 120 back to a 220 back on the mamiya rb67? Did you activate the double exposure lever to shoot? Did your frame counter show the frame count?

One minor point. I think that 600 Gowlandflex camera were made in total. Considering that they/he made many other camera models, there are very likely to be far fewer than 600 of this particular model out there. I love the Gowlandflex cameras. You are so lucky to have tried one out first hand!

I just inherited one and the battery compartment was coming apart and didn't work. I glued it together with Superglue and it worked! Just make sure all the little plates are in the proper sequence. I recall they only really fit one way. And make sure your batteries are oriented properly too. If you have a voltmeter the contacts should read 9v when everything is correct.
