Thank you but I still don't know the actual process of purchasing Alpha with TAO? When I connect my wallet on Taostats, all I can see are the validators to stake to, nothing about staking to one of the 64 subnets. What am I missing?

dTao will create a large exodus. Not only is there a risk in holding TAO already, now an introduction where TAO is swapped for alpha tokens is an even greater risk to holders. I understand the issue that bittensor is currently facing, but I'm my view holding TAO was sort of holding a basket of different AI projects into one token. This is now effectively being removed and TAO is becoming like any other L1 network. Yes, bittensor is open source but is this now the only advantage against closed AI projects in the crypto space? Choosing Render or an alpha token within the network is basically the same at this point. This decision was probably not easy and adding mechanisms such as root was most likely the fact that bittensor has realised that without root option, this change will create an even bigger exodus. Those who are reading this comment as stakers, you are most likely thinking "oh, I'll see how the change will affect the project going forward, at least I am still getting my emissions for a certain time and when the time comes I'll move into certain subnets that show longevity". You will be dumped on! I still think that this will be a buy the rumour, sell the news event, we can already see this happening as TAO is currently appreciating in price. Yours truly

When staking at root you earn tokens from all subnets but is that automatically converted back to TAO or will the staker have to do that?
