Coach Keefa was our coach for 3yrs back in Tooele County. He never missed a tournament with our kid's and still sponsors our kid's sports teams and just always offered solid advice. I love seeing his gym thrive because iv always said great things are going on there and coming out of there. Teaching, discipline, self confidence and respect. Keep grinding Coach

Jiu-jitsu is intended for defense. So,making it difficult and uncomfortable is important. Yes, you shouldn't hurt someone in training that causes damage to bones, ligaments, etc. But the students should understand that during an attack, it will not be easy.

"I'm your huckleberry Ringo" replied the cheerful doctor "That's just my game" Direct quote from the 1929 book "Tombstone: An Iliad of the Southwest" by Walter Noble Burns. The script writer Kevin Jarre was told by historical consultant Jeff Morey that if he was going to have the town confrontation in the movie, he should use that line from the book. And he did. Word for word. Ringo: "Don't any of ya have the guts to play for blood?" Doc: "I'm your huckleberry. That's JUST my game" Now, as to the "huckle bearer" nonsense: It's not a real term. None of it. Casket handles were NEVER called huckles. Huckle means "hip, haunch" in pretty much any dictionary from any time era you want to look it up in. Try it. Don't use google, their AI just pulls from more recent conversations like this and just repeats the "huckle bearer" nonsense definition. There is not a single bit of historical evidence to support the existence of "huckle bearer", or 'huckle' being any part of a casket. And if you think about it logically...if all that WAS true, 'huckle bearer' wouldn't even make sense. It literally would mean "handle bearer". Who would say that? You "bear" a load, (or payload) not the handle on the side of the load. The load is the casket. That'd be like calling the little kids bringing the rings in at a wedding "pillow bearers" because that's what the rings are sitting on top of. Plus, the person that kills you would never be the one to carry your casket, so it's just nonsense all the way around.

Nice cliffhanger. Script says Huckleberry, for those who don't know. It was lifted directly from a 1929 book "Tombstone: An Iliad of the Southwest" in which Doc said it to Ringo. And huckle "bearer" never existed, it's made up internet nonsense that nobody ever said. It didn't even exist until the late 1990's. No historical evidence for it whatsoever.

My Great aunt Minnie was born in 1878, she died in 1982 at age 104. She was the old lady aunt that would always want to kiss you, and as young kids we always were like 'ewwwwww ,... Old lady kiss". SO I did not gain much knowledge from her. My grandfather was born in 1903 and lived 85 years, his wife lived 94.

In Japan a few years ago, they discovered a new species of bacteria. They know it's new because it only consumes 1 thing for food. Nylon. Evolution is awesome. This bacteria is currently being experimented with to use in cleaning up the oceans. I am a little older, I was 23 when Tombstone came out. In 1997, I , while on a 2 week wildlife photography stint in AZ, (photographing wild rattlesnakes) I visited Tombstone, their "old town" preserved for tourism, is where the movie (partially) was shot. Big Nosed Kate's (was the Oriental until Doc's woman bought it ) The Crystal Palace, and the Bird Cage Theatre are all still there as well as an OK corral shootout reinactments on a regular schedule. It was so cool to come out of the desert after 10 days camping, and get an ice cold beer at the Crystal palace, before heading back out into the 110 degree October weather.

Almost everyone who headed west in the mid to late 1800s, had to go through Dodge city Kansas. Wyatt became famous mostly because of location, location, location. Doc, a dentist from the Savannah area, whose family mostly perished from tuberculosis, headed west, drinking and gambling his way to drier air to breathe. Dana Delaney starred in China Beach with her costar..MARG HELGENBERGER (CSI, Species).
