I think a modded PS2 would significantly reduce some of that clutter. A PS2 slim with a cut down mod. Ide to sata mod. USB C power supply. Bluetooth controller mod. HDMI mod. These would significantly reduce the rats nest of wires you have running here. Would introduce a wireless controller (PS3, PS4 or PS5). Would have better loading times and no studders at all. You can use a high watt USB C charger to power the PS2. The PS2 itself would take up less space and internal HDMI would mean you'll get a more crispy image before the signals reach the DAC for composite output.

I sold my vw golf plus, car had a 6speed dsg gearbox and I changed the oil/filter in the box after 40k miles, the girl who bought it took it to her mechanic, oh he claimed you don't have to service that gearbox lmao there's mechanics and there's mechanics, the way I LOOKED at it was why risk 2k of the transmission on a £160 service, car drove beautifully, had 120k miles on it when I sold it, owned car over 6yrs,couldnt fault the car, she was a beaut ❤

I hear you! Oil degrades over time, filters get clogged over time, there is no such thing as a lifetime transmission, it needs a timely service just like the engine needs a service. I completely agree with you 👍🏽

You changed maybe 50% of the fluid you havent flushed it theres at least the same in the torque converter as there is in the oan and you havent foushed it out.

We intended to do a drain and fill as a flush can cause problems to the transmission, after this service the transmission ran silky smooth and changed gears much better than before 👍🏽
