That second to last throw where 4 people are converging on the disc looked kind of dangerous. Glad everybody came out of it ok.

Yeah it was kinda dangerous. The new guy feels the need to play tough defense. In the NFL, that is a legit defensive play. In the AUDL, the referee would call that as a foul. But most frisbee players don't know this because they don't watch the AUDL.

@@anthonyhoang5902 The NFL has pads, helmets, and players paid high enough where they are willing to risk permanent brain injuries. In club play they would probably also call a foul or dangerous play. In rec league I hope we might also call a foul/dangerous play but more importantly try to explain the rule. No ultimate players, even AUDL players, make enough money to make severe injury worth playing dangerously.

Last one = push pass with a lot of fanciness before it. Re: Duck Wing to Matt - he's probably wondering why you didn't throw the open unguarded backhand instead of floating it into traffic.

Matt knows the Duck Wing is nearly unstoppable... besides, my mark was going to run into my backhand. a foul would have been called... and maybe he would have said "sorry". But more importantly, no goal would have happened had it been a backhand.

@@anthonyhoang5902 Ah ok, after looking at reverse angle, yes, I see he was running to take away backhand throw. But it looks like if you had looked at backhand first and not taken that extra time to change grip, you might have been able to get the throw off before he got there.
