Last time I ride the worlds fastest speed boat with goes 81mph aprox 94 mph that’s faster than hsc Francisco is goes 58 knots or 67 mph

Yes, there were a few, one being known as “Devil,Cat” (Hull 046) which i travelled on in early 2001 from Melbourne to George Town. It had a few operators, and spent most of its life in Trinidad and Tobago. Sadly it is no more, as it was sold to a Spanish operator and was under tow to Spain when it was lost near the Azores in 2021.❤

I traveled in that ship last week, it was fully loaded and was cruising at 42 knots, aprox 80km/h, due to the turbine engines the start up sounds like a plane and the acceration is amazing, goes from 5 knots to 40 in a while

Your answer is in your statement. This is a ship, not a boat. A large cargo carrying seafaring vessel over 500 tons is a ship. Anything smaller is a boat.

she may not be the fastest ship in the world, but she is the fastests PASSENGER ship in the world. She can carry up to 1000 passengers and 150 cars

I think the short-lived Louis Dreyfus Incat did it in 60 minutes in scheduled service Boulougne-Dover. A wonderful cat and I am glad I managed to sail on LD Lines when they were around...

Amazing machine. I can't help but wonder though, whether a more conventional propeller would be more efficient than water jets, given how much the jets seem to stir up the wake. I guess jets have practical advantages that are more important than those last few percentage points of efficiency.
