In most states it's illegal to run fog lights on when your high Beem is on the relay is design to turn off your fog lamps when you switch to high Beem it serves a purpose.

Think I have same clutch in my 05 dodge. I hate it with a passion. It is so noisy, hard to get in gear sometimes, and does not engage smooth at all. Would love to go back to single disc organic clutch but that costs $$ lol (clutch was already installed when I bought the truck few months ago)

Now fog light stay on with low and high beams.

Wade Collins it was a loose soder connection to one of the brushes. That and the pump is a pile of shit. I have had 3 of them between 2 trucks. The oldest pump pisses fuel everywhere and the newer 2 shorted out and destroyed the windings in the motors. Need less to say I will never buy a fass product ever again

cody huey honestly I would just do a projector retrofit. It’s the best way to get good headlights in a 94-02 Dodge Ram. I used all morimoto parts for mine and it cost me around $500. But if you got to the retrofitsource.com they do have cheaper projectors that’s can be easily retrofitted into your headlights. But it is well worth the money.

It’s holding up great. I believe I have maybe 10,000 miles on it so far. But as of last summer when I disassembled the truck it has given me no issues. The only thing I don’t like about the clutch is it takes longer to shift the transmission due to the extra mass of the dual disc clutch.

OffRoadRunner94 Thanks for the quick response. I just purchased the kit and that was the harness option I chose. I assumed it wasn’t the canbus option.
@OffRoadRunner94
@OffRoadRunner94 4 жыл бұрын
No problem. I will add tho the kit is wired for a 9007 plug like you would find on a 2003-2005 dodge, so if you are using it on a 9004 plug you will have to unpin the plug and repin for the 9004 plug. All that it takes is swapping the ground and one of the positive wires. You can google 9004 and 9007 plug wiring and you will see what I mean.

If you do this be sure to add extra ground wires straight from the bulb socket or it will overload the original ground wire. But to be honest it didn’t help much at all. The only way I was able to get good headlight performance for my dodge was to do a hid projector retrofit. It can cost a bit depending on what brand/ how good the quality of the parts are but I did a full morimoto retrofit costing me around $530 and the first time I drove at night with it made me wish I had done it sooner.

@OffRoadRunner94

It might be just my truck but when the grid heater cycles it draws enough powers to shut off the relay on one side. Like I said it might just be my truck but figured you could use the heads up. And I have the morimoto mini d2s projectors. You can use the mini h1 in oem housings with less modifications but the d2s have a bigger lense.

@OffRoadRunner94
@OffRoadRunner94 5 жыл бұрын
It will work on the single bulb headlights as well. It was only an attempt to get some more useable light out of the headlights. If you want good headlights a projector retrofit is the best way to go. I do not regret doing mine one bit.
@FatGreenSheep
@FatGreenSheep 5 жыл бұрын
OffRoadRunner94 mine has two bulbs, the low beam is a projector setup and the high beam is almost like the OEM reflector setup.
@OffRoadRunner94
@OffRoadRunner94 5 жыл бұрын
All you need to do is run a trigger wire from the high beam wire to activate a relay and have the low beams hooked up to the output of the relay. I would suggest getting male and female 9004/9007 connectors to avoid hacking up your harness and adding diodes in top to keep the extra current from going up to the headlight switch
