@@yungkiann4798 There's a lot of reports of a lot of different bite forces. Your , so specific number made me chuckle 🤣 Dobermans vary so much in size and strength. It is known that a strong Doberman can easily break a man's arm with the force. Not many dogs can. My Doberman surprises me with the roots he digs and just rips up like they are straw. He's a big one for a Doberman. 48.8 kilos the other week and not fat. Pure power. He definitely has a stronger bite than your silly number.

All shepherd dog breeds have innate guarding instincts. Some say that doberman is specially designed for guarding duties so it's a better guard dog. I can't say, but if so, why most modern armies and police departments prefer gsds? For me this fact is very indicative. Most probably, for this reason gsd has some kind of advantage over dobe

+chalkomatas GSD most preferred dog for family as a guard dogs..very easy to train than Doberman.. Doberman is hard to train . Daring is more than GSD..

Leo Dobi false Informations. doberman is the 5th smartest dog in the world . it's so easy to train . what do u mean by its not ?
@GoCeltics7347 жыл бұрын
they choose GSDs purely because of fur. Dobermans are very temperature sensitive because of being short haired with no undercoat and little fat.

I have trained working dogs for years. German Shepards have been used because Dobes are more tightly wound since they have terrier in them and are harder to keep locked in to task. So, you have to be more of a man to control one.. However, they are just as easy to train as a GS. They are also temp. sensitive to the cold. However, in certain countries like India where it is hot they use the Doberman more. Anyone who says all Shepards are better watch dogs or sentries than Dobermans just giving their opinion. A Shepard is a dog bred to guard livestock and property while the Doberman was specifically bred as a personal protection dog. And, they were the Devil Dogs for the US Marines in WW II in the South Pacific. They were war heros, and had a memorial built to them. Both good choices as a guard dog, but the very expensive ones that the super wealthy buy (like on the show Magnum PI) are Dobermans. In almost every class I had for working dogs a Doberman was the top dog in training. And I trained for the Police and military too. They wanted their Shepards...they were less extreme, and in general dependable. I actually like Malinois a good deal too. Rotts can get the job done too.

And this my friend is the perfect example of who should NOT own a Doberman. Chained by a 3 ft chain. Taught to be severely aggressive, with no reasoning. Hope that pup survives you.

***** I have never chained a dog. Would you be happy living on a 5' chain? Mine have over an acre to roam, fenced in. No chains. Even without a fence they do not get chained.
