I’m so glad I’m not the only one that keeps the packaging and tins of pencil sets 😂 To be fair, I’ve only just put sets I bought years ago into new pencil cases to start using them. I wanted to start adult colouring a long time ago but didn’t have any spare time, now I have and I’m getting back into crafting and adult colouring but I’ve still kept the tins…….just in case…….😬😂

Mine just came today and I think the design is so cute and the fact that I can see the paint makes me so happy!🥰 I spent so much time trying to decide between the sets because they all seem nice. I have the older dual tip ones but I've been saving them.😅 I do that way too much. Thank you for always doing such thorough, amazing reviews!❤ I love your channel!!!!!

These pencils are looking so great. I wish I could buy them here in Germany, but they are too expensive. Now I’ve purchased some from Jackson‘s Store. I‘m very excited to test them out. I think your pencils are no fake. Maybe its a differents from the year, they were produced. Another charging number maybe . They are looking absolutely similar to me. My Holbein coloured pencils are “for Europe, USA and Canada”. Evidently some of the pigments are banned in those markets. Holbein has a large following in its homeland and does not want to change all their stock. It makes no sense but it is what it is.

Just bought a 60 set for my soon to be 8 year old niece, I'm not sure my brother is going to be happy with the alcohol smell 🤦‍♂️😂 actually interested in getting the same set for myself/my partner to mess around with. I'm interested in how well that blending pen works as I was initially looking at the watercolour set for easy blending but I prefer the punch you get from the alcohol type markers

I know this video is 10 months old, but wanted to add, I have the 132 set I purchased from an estate sale in 2019. My set is the tin with the girl in the white dress. Mine do not have a white undercoat on the barrel paint. And they do have the telltale "cracks".

If you like to blend with solvents, I highly suggest getting the Holbein Meltz solvent - it practically turns the Holbeins into watercolours. It works really well with oil-based coloured pencils but not with wax-based ones. Enjoy your Holbeins. They are not fake if they came from a shop in Japan.

I love the look of the gliding pens they remind me of the one special gold pen my mum had for crafting
